Bio Photo Hello
I am Andy
I am the Author of
My sons and I adopted 3 graves at the cemetery of Margraten , Netherlands and 4 at Henri Chapelle , Belgium
Graves of soldiers who died in WW2.
I take care of these graves and made a website about these men.
These men are fallen but will never be forgotten

I also started to write stories on my website about the men of the 401st BG that didn't make it back home.
I created a virtual cemetery of them.
Complete stories can be read on my page

I also want to be a photo volunteer , so if anyone would like a picture from the American cemetery's in Margraten ( Netherlands ) or Henri Chapelle ( Belgium ) or Ardennes cemetery Belgium , don't hesitate to ask.

I thought I had a better photo of just his marker, but didn't find it so will try to get back there and do another one before we are buried in white. Thank you for your interest in our veterans and in honoring their lives.

Hi Andy,

I was able to get back out and get a nice photo of the marker. If you remember, when I first went they last year I couldn't find the marker and they discovered it had been covered by a giant ant hill. I went back after they got rid of that but the marker was very dirty. I had mentioned I'd try again in spring hoping the snow etc would get rid of all that ant hill residue. It did, and going now just after Memorial Day probably helped. I was so pleased to see how nice it looks.

I also added another wide shot from a different angle. I will go back and delete the dirty photo but I wanted to leave it up so you can see the comparison.
