I became a member of Find A Grave after I lost my son. A friend created a memorial in his memory which has brought me some comfort and peace. Since then, I have enjoyed the quiet time while walking through a cemetery taking pictures of others' loved ones. |
Recently a fourth cousin found my Grandparents' memorials. We are now working together to complete our family trees.
For those searching for distant family members, I will continue to add to Find A Grave. I will also try to fulfill photo requests.

And thank you for finding my relative. F_a_G is my socially-acceptable form of OCD. If you need, i can read & translate German.

Would you please be so kind as to attach your photo from Byron S Smith, Find A Grave Memorial# 132827956 to Sarah Taylor, Find A Grave Memorial# 133099310.
Byron was her fourth husband. Her last husband, sixth, was John Taylor.
I would really appreciate it.

|Gwendolyn B||Maynard Ford error|
Lori, I just goofed. Maynard Ford's parents are NOT George McCalla and Jane Gault McCalla and he is not married to himself. I meant to put those under Eva M. Ford (137585997) instead. Can you not accept that erroneous info? I am so sorry. Then I will put it under Eva instead as it won't let me know. Thanks. Gwendolyn B

|Mike & Bushy Hartman||Thanks so much|
Thank you I appreciate the kind words and I agree, I had two people in one day so sort of blew my mind, there are more nice than naughty.
You have a fantastic holiday and may your dinner be one to remember.
|Sarah Pullen ||RE: Pullen Family|
Hi Lori - Yes, the Pullens were some of the original pioneers to come from upstate New York to Romulus, Michigan. The family of Jenks Pullen settled there when the Erie Canal was opened and travel to Mich. territory was easier. Jenks was a soldier in the War of 1812 and his father was in the Vermont Militia during the Revolutionary War. Thanks for helping with the updates, I really appreciate it.
Thanks for the photo
