That is odd, but I checked myself and the pictures were fine.

It was in a large display case inside of the mausoleum, at Rest Haven.
|Eve Owens||J Thorne|
I stopped by at the cemetery and looked around. There are a lot of Thorne's buried there but I did not see a J Thorne for the dates you mentioned. There are a few headstones that I could not read and someone appears to have done a pretty good job of putting pictures etc up on FoG for I think all the headstones that are readable.
I did pull the phone number as you might want to call. 301-292-7828 They may be able to tell you where plot 1-2 is or whether they have any records of his burial or even if there is a headstone. I don't know how they keep their records. If they tell you where to find plot i-2 I can run back by there to take a picture.
Sorry there is not better news,
You are very welcome. I have been meaning to get out to that cemetery for a while. Glad I could find the stone.

You're welcome. No the cemetery doesn't have photos and obits. I've asked before.

I visited Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery today and they have no record of his internment (Barke). What was his first wife's full name and I will check that out.
