Photo Requests
I was out at Forest Hills Cemetery trying to get some photos for your requests and we were told that they do not allow photos to be taken. If you can call the cemetery office at 610-779-2550 and request section information, I will try to get back out there on Sunday to photograph the markers.

Marie Gilley @ Forest Park Cemetery in Houston
I see you added a picture request for Marie Gilley @ Forest Park Cemetery in Houston. I try to go there at least every other week. If you would call the cemetery at 713-928-5141 and get a "SECTION" and "LOT" I will try to get the picture you want. This is a very large (225+) acre cemetery and without a location would be very hard to find.

Thank you,
Cecil Vaden Jr

Thanks for the information. He has now been linked to his father. We really do enjoy linking family members together. Families are forever!

Evening Laurie,
I just got back from the cemetery and I can tell ya he has a very nice, tall, still readable memorial -but- according to the Find A Grave rules, I can't post what I have until the person who picked it up does their thing, within' the next 10 days then I will follow up where he left off. The reason I say that, instead of just the requested memorial I have a habit of photographing and posting the memorial + "surrounding area" because I believe that provides the requestor with more vital genealogical info. Having said that, there are (4) cinder blocks in his plot that have no information. Unfortunately I took the wrong vehicle out there, the one without my Find A Grave work bag which contains my "witches". I have the ability to locate human remains and also determine if they are male or female. I will attempt to get back out there so that I can provide that info as well to you but if I don't, I will make a note and catch it on my next trip to Dallas as I go right by there.
Anyway, hope ur genealogical searches are working out for ya, James Coston

Thank you for the information. The change has been made. His grandparents, Arnold and Rebecca (Jones) Stoker are the 3rd great-grandparents of the better half of this team.

Breaker Family in Hollywood Cemetery
I filled your request for Lewis F Breaker and added the two sons who are in the same plot there. Unfortunately, I could not find a marker for Laura Breaker, but will look again when I go back.

Help me to help you
There are 81 photo requests at:

Hollywood Cemetery

Postal Code: 77009
Phone: 713-227-5109 713-227-5109

Here is the contact information for the Cemetery where you made a photo request. Contact them and ask them for the grave location of the grave you want photographed. Cemeteries often give such grave locations as a type of grave address, for example plot, lot or section number, row number and grave or space number. Funeral home services and Cemetery staff at some locations are more friendly and helpful to family members of the deceased than they are to volunteer photographers. Volunteers seeking graves to photograph them sometimes get brushed off because Funeral homes and Cemeteries are businesses and people who work at them feel that there are more valuable ways to spend their time than helping volunteers. Usually a person who can claim to be a relative or friend of the deceased gets more helpful response. So, I am sending you the contact information of the Cemetery where you have made a photo request. Call them or write to them and ask them for exact grave locations of your loved one. Write down the grave location at the cemetery. Then send me a message letting me know where the grave location is at the cemetery.

As soon as I receive the exact grave locations for this cemetery, I will go there on my day off and try to fullfill your photo request with the grave location you provide to me.
