Isaac Purdy & Hannah Morgan Purdy
Isaac Purdy and his wife Hannah Morgan Purdy are listed in the Holmes county cemetery book.
Page 185. For Oakhill Cemetery, in Killbuck.
We have traveled to the cemetery 3 times and
have been unable to locate the grave site.
Isaac Purdy died in July 15, 1843
and Hannah his wife died December 29, 1873.
Isaac and Hannah were my husbands G.G.Grandparents.
We were told that they were probably located in the hill area near the large gun.
We were there this past August and found nothing.
There never seems to be anyone in the small office.
Wonder if there was never any markers or if they
have crumbled away.
Just wondered if you had anyone in the area who might be able to check for us.
Thank you, Mervin and Jackie Purdy, Shingle Springs, CA.
