RE: Young and Welch of Palestine
Wolf Creek Lake is the only thing I am familiar with that has that name. It is west of Palestine. I don't know any cemeteries in the area. Contact Tony Rohne at and I am certain he can help you find it.

RE: W H Franks & Henry Franks
Thanks Brenda

I am hoping that Weldon Burke night be able to help me locate some of these lost graves of the Franks and others. He is in his 90s and has large hand drawn maps of pilgrim and all the graves. I have got it down to only about 32 graves that are on find a grave but can not be found. out of 1200 graves dating back to 1840s i guess that nots bad most of the missing ones are from the 1800s and just are not marked most likely.

If you ever get up to pilgrim let me know I live in Palestine area but we still own our family ranch just a couple of miles from Pilgrim and I am at Pilgrim Frequestly I know it as well as anyone except for Weldon. Thanks for your help

Thanks for your reply cousin Brenda. Most of the Franks are buried in the very oldest part of the near the grave of Miles Bennett, Permelia Bennett Franks father. Miles First wife Rachel Parker Bennet was the first person buried at Pilgrim. the franks along with the Parkers, Bennetts, Kennedys etc were the early backbone of Pilgrim Church and Cemetery. nice to meet you. look forward to want info you can provide me ont hose Franks
