I guess I was 12 when my Uncle George started telling me of my family roots, and gave me a lot of research. If you see any information that is not correct, please let us know. More than happy to make corrections and add relationship links to other memorials, but am curtailing (not stopping) transferring memorials due to growing misunderstanding of what Find A Grave is about by those discovering the site for the first time. The time members have put into their efforts working together and sharing information compiling an historical record - not a genealogical one - is not up for grabs based on same-name surname or lineage and I will not do any of these type of transfers. I will continue to transfer memorials within Find A Grave guidelines and those that have been sponsored. Just remember we are all just one family. Nobody knows where we are going, but it is nice to know where we have been!!!!!I am now in the process of connecting my family lines. Life is not a journey to the grave, with the intention of arriving safely, in a well preserved body. Rather to slide in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming.."WOW" That was a "Great Ride"!

Good afternoon . . . I see on this page where you state that they were married on House Island . . . Thomas and Mary are my 9th great-grandparents . . . so I am trying to properly document all of the info in my family tree . . . and I cannot seem to find a source for the House Island info . . . would you mind sharing where you found that data? . . . thanks for any input . . .

 | The Newtons Continuing with the Newtons I've added images for Jack and Sally Newton. All these graves are next to one another and have the same style Gothic lettering so they must be related. You have sally's middle initial as B but looking at the grave marker it looks as though it's a Gothic H. What do you think? | | | John Holland
 | Richard Linneaus Newton He was born Oct 9 1914
His parents are 104084804 & 110969434 if you wish to link him.
My apologies, it seems that I have created a second file for Linnaeus Smith Newton. I've linked the families and added images so would you prefer me to remove my link to Linnaeus or shall I keep mine? | | | John Holland
 | Cloy Ethel Newton She was born Sep 3 1892 | | | Deb
 | Gertrude Woods The photo is now attached and you can add dates.Added by Deb on May 22, 2013 9:47 AM | | | John Holland
 | Mary Ann Stokes She was born in 1917 | | | Deb
 | Bert G. Woods As I was taking the requested photo of Bert's crypt, I also took one of his wife's(Gertrude) located next to Bert. If you would create a memorial for her, I will be glad to attach the pic.Added by Deb on May 21, 2013 6:46 PM | | | Tams
 | Sebastian Dassance System may have goofed, you have two memorials for Sebastian Dassance in Mount Washington Cemetery. Find A Grave #62816628 and Find A Grave #62816592.
Take care, TammieAdded by Tams on May 21, 2013 6:35 PM | | | A Life Well Lived
 | Gladys Norton Cox, Rose Hills Since you are the creator of our aunt's memorial, would you please put the year of her birth at 1900, instead of "unknown"? Thank You. | | | Duane Warren
 | RE: Henry Dyer If you are correct about the three wives then it seems logical to assume that James could be buried in Crescent Beach Cemetery. It and Mount Pleasant are both in Cumberland County, Maine. You have Anna Small listed as James third wife. This seems problematic as Anna Small was his mother's name and the stone you have associated with Anna Smalls says Wm Dyer (William). I do have a couple of pages of a book on the historical geneaology of this part of the family I will send you, it may assist you??
Blessings and good hunting. Am happy to tackle this together as these are ancestors in our direct line. 3rd, 4th and 5th Great Grandparents...
Talk soon, and will forward the pages as soon as I get your email.
