Hello,
This is such a wonderful site, one can now sit at home and find ones family ! I like this idea.
My husband and I traveled for 10 years to all the home sites of our past families and walked the cemeteries to find their graves. Many I'm sure had not had a visitor for a couple generations. I have many obituarys to place as of yet.
I hope to soon get all the tombstone photos and information I have on to sites soon.
I wish you good luck @ finding your families.

RE: grave
Thank you for your reply,

I would kindly ask that you please change the "Find a Grave" Burial listing and remove the note that he was buried at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in The Dalles, Oregon.

If this is not something you are able to do as the creator of this listing, please let me know and I will contact the folks at Find a Grave so that the error may be resolved.

Thank you for your time and attention to this, Kalli

There is no marker, so I do not believe one can list "burial at sea" as the place of remains. From Find A Grave:

What if someone was cremated or does not have a traditional 'grave'?
Find A Grave believes everyone should be remembered equally and have built the site to support common alternative dispositions to traditional burial. This includes cremation, lost or buried at sea, and donated to medical science. Use the Family and Friends form to add a memorial using one of these alternatives to traditional burial. If there is a known cenotaph or memorial marker for one of these alternative dispositions located in a cemetery, add the memorial to the cemetery and add a note to the memorial indicating that it is a cenotaph and what, if known, happened to the individual's remains. If there is an existing cenotaph within a cemetery for someone who had a alternative disposition, do NOT add another memorial under the alternative disposition (such as Burial: Unknown, Lost at Sea).
Roadside accident memorials are not an accepted burial disposition.

RE: transfer of memorials
Hi "hem"!

I transferred Edwin Brown to you just now. Luena C Long Neff is also my grand aunt, so I want to hang onto the memorials for her and her husband, Irvin Neff. My great grandmother, Elve Long Wait was her sister. Are you related through Irvin's line? It looks like our "people" knew each other! Mt Pleasant is a pretty small cemetery.

RE: Clyde Neff
I still can't get it to change as they tell me the number you gave me is not correct. Otherwise,
I would have changed it by now.

RE: Clyde Neff
I tried and it says there's no number like this in the system.

Hello HEM,

I just completed the transfers of your great aunt and uncle. You also sent me a message about possibly being related. I don't think so as none of these memorials I've transferred are in my or my husband's families. But it never hurts to check, right? Have a great day!
