Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born in Wexford county, Michigan. Retired from Federal Service in '95 after a career in Radar and Broadcasting. Became interested in genealogy after moving to Florida. Recently discovered findagrave and have spent many hours in virtual cemeteries. My wish is to someday have enough time to completely photograph and upload certain cemeteries. Some of the surnames I'm working on are Altman, Zeitz, Irwin, Ketchum, O'Neal, Lewis, Switzer and Bond.

As a military veteran, I've promised myself to post a memorial for all deceased veterans, in my area, whose obits list a cemetery. Living in an area with a large military retiree population, means I'm going to be busy! Since I am obviously not related to many of the families for whom I've created a memorial, I would be happy to transfer the ownership to a family member. Just send me an email request.

The image on this page is my G-Grandfather, George Altman, who spent 4 years in the Civil War as a Private with the Ohio 68th Infantry. Members of my family have served in the military during every war we've fought, going all the way back to the Revolutionary War.

Thank You
Thank you so very much for starting a memorial for my grandfather (Gilbert Kinsey and for the wonderful message you left for him. I had no idea this site even existed but i'm glad to have found it because it gives me a chance to leave flowers and messages for him.

RE: Wiggins City Cemetery
Just for your info, this is the correct cemetery and a map is at the bottom, it sits right behind Woodlawn Cemetery.

My grandfather was Golda's brother and lived in Howe, LaGrange Co. Indiana on an 80 acre farm. I believed that Charles and Golda had a daughter by the name of Ardith. Is the information correct?

lol, thanks! I usually don't get into linking people I have no idea who they were, but when I see that you are working to link someone to their parents, well I just can't leave the wife out! lol

And also know, you may get more SAC's from me. I am working Cycadia right now (husband and in-laws speak Greek as their first language, so they are translating so much for me), and I see your name a lot. Please know that I am just trying to help others great work!

RE: Ed Zeitz (F.A.G. memorial #25977314)
I'm sorry to hear of your cousin & have posted the date of his death.

I'm not familiar with Myron Ketchum-however that doesn't mean anything. I see that you have Irwin in your line. My husband' gr gr grandmother was Jane Irwin, married to Eugene Ketchm. My mother was a Ketchum. Any genealogy questions send me a note at: digginroots@yahoo.com (that's diggin not digging.)
