Bio Photo Relatively new to genealogy...but find it fascinating.

Married empty nester. Love watching our grandkids growing. My husband & I like to camp, fish, and geocache, when we can find the time.

I am doing this genealogy for my descendants...wish someone had done the same for me.

Andrew Paul Compton
Saw your old post on Andrew Paul Compton. I too am looking for an Andrew Compton in 1870. His full name is Andrew Jackson Compton from French Lick, Indiana. Have you seen him in your research? My Compton's also went to Oklahoma.

RE: Sarah Cecil Runyon
I couldn't find our original message to see what we talked about then. I looked at your tree and have some additional information for you. Alexander Bowen had 4 children. Jack Stanley was named after his sister Ella Bowen Henry's son Stanley Henry. Jackie lived with us for a long time on the farm in Jackson Ohio.
Uncle Alex had a set of twins Larry Jay and Linda Kay. They only lived a couple of weeks. They are buried in Woodland Cemetery in the same section as Alex Mary William and Ella. My sister and I walked the section and could not find a marker for either of them. I should have gotten the plot number form the office but did not. On m next visit I will do that. Also there was a son that went by the nickname of Buddy. He was married to a lady named Dora. They lived in Franklin Furnace. I remember visiting them they had a horse and the house and barn were white with read trim. He was killed in a car accident on Hwy 52 after buying paint. I can't remember what year and am unable to find any information but remember reading the newspaper clipping that Aunt Ella had. My tree on Ancestry is Linda Weston. I was raised by Ella and have some pictures that I don't know which brother it is in the picture also I have a large one of Grandma Mary Cecil Bowen in an Oval frame and can not figure our how to make a copy. I hangs in my hall way. I will try to take a picture of it.

Sarah Cecil Runyon
I am a great granddaughter of Sarah. Charles Runyon is my grandfather. I was wondering where you got the information for the name on her memorial. Are you a relative? I have not seen the first last name you have for her. I can not find anything for her husband Jesse Runyon.

Thank You

Maude Gannon
I would be happy to transfer this memorial to you if you would so wish.

Gannon's are none of my relations, but I had a good friend with that surname and thought there might be a connection. I took the photos while searching for my 2nd great grandparents' graves.

David Buhler
William C Wilson, 1842-1916
He is buried at Sugar Creek, Ironton, Lawrence County. My question is: have you found evidence that he was married twice? Once to Martha E Huston, 21 Sept 1866 in Aid, Lawrence Co., Ohio and 2nd to Sarah Martha Dean, 24 May 1879,in Lawrence Co., Ohio?
I haven't found Martha E. Huston's death date yet; however find that William C. and Martha E. were living together in the 1910 Federal Census, for Bristol Twp, Morgan Co, Ohio, where he is 70 & she 61 and both married 44 years. !!! .... and that accords with their marriage record of Sept 1866. Now I wonder was he a bigamist or am I completely mixed up? :)Can you help me out?

Yours for good genealogical hunting,

David Buhler,

RE: Cyrelda Jane Wooten Bryant
Didn't mean to sound rude or anything when I sent that SAC. Only sent the sac per the physical documents I have. Which do include her death Certificate which does list her parents. And the Marriage license that I have show that she was married to Epperson J Bryant in 1858. Again no disrespect intended.
