RE: Enoch Abel
It's possible to get Enoch and Nancy Abel's gravestones repaired. I asked one of the church cemetery superintendents this morning how it could be done. I can send you his contact information if you want to pursue it further.

RE: Enoch Abel
Hi Candace,
I submitted an edit for George W. Abel to link him to Enoch and Nancy. The owner of the memorial, in this case, Ellen Johnson, will approve or ignore the edit request. She "owns" the memorial and gets final say on what is displayed on that memorial. "Ownership" can be transferred, most often to family members who have stronger connections to the memorial than those of us that are just close by and happen to be the creator.

Was Enoch Jr. the son of Enoch Sr? Should I link them together as well?

The BPC cemetery records are now online at http://bethlehempc.org/bpc-history/. Based upon these records, I went ahead and created memorials for Nancy and their son Richard Abel

RE: Enoch Abel
I'm so glad that my efforts helped you. I have no idea why they could not find it earlier. I've been working with the supervisors of all 3 of the cemeteries surrounding Bethlehem Presbyterian Church and am a member of that church. My approach was to photograph everything I could find and upload it. The church keeps the cemetery groomed, so I have no explanation. If I didn't post Nancy Smith Abel, it's likely not there, but I'll go look this weekend.

I added his date of death to the memorial. Perhaps I can come up with his obituary for you. I'll add it to my list for the next time I go to the library.

Would you like ownership of the two Enoch Abel memorials on FindAGrave? I'm not committed to keeping them if you're family.

RE: Enoch Abel
Are you asking about the Enoch Abel buried at the Old Bethlehem Presbyterian Churchyard or the one at Union Cemetery of Grandin? They may be related, as these two cemeteries are right next to each other. If there weren't pictures for each of them, I would have guessed that they were for the same person.

There is a lot of confusion between the 3 cemeteries surrounding Bethlehem Presbyterian Church and a lot of mis-information exists.

My effort was to catalogue what was there in my pictures. I can go look more closely if you tell me which one you're interested in.

RE: Alice Brockway
Hi CFant,

This is the location, according to Anoka Co. Historical Soc. records, where Alice is buried. There is no marker for her grave. This cemetery is very old and has been vanadalized over the years, thus many markers are missing, broken, or covered over with grass.

RE: John and Mary Boies
These stones are in the North Cemetery. You may want to edit the cemetery as such. There is a sign for the cemetery, I can add if you would like.

Or you could edit the cemetery with an AKA (also known as).

Good luck!

Reuben/Lavinia Brockway
Hi Candace,

These are hard to read, but this is my best guess:

Lavinia's: Died Dec. 15. 1880, AGED 78 Ys. 4 Mo. 6 Ds.

Reuben's: Died Nov. 18. 1885, 87 Ys. 10 Mo. 18 Ds.

RE: Povolny at Munn
I just checked again and they are there.
I went to Munn in United States, Ohio, Geauga County and entered Povolny - Bessie, Frank, Henry and Marie are all there along with the photos.
I then entered Vodicka and they were both there along with the photos.

Try again and let me know if you still can't find them.
