 | james randall smith Hello and thanks so much for the picture on Find-a-Grave for James Randall Smith. It looks like you and I might be related through the Drury line of southern Georgia---I would have to trace it, but I know there are a lot of Drurys in there---and I wondered if you had any information on this particular person. If he is who I think he might be he is my maternal great uncle, being my mother's uncle (her mother's brother). My mother was Nancy Alice Daniels, her mother was Nancy Elizabeth Smith, and Nancy Elizabeth's brother was James Randall Smith, son of Ran S and Jincy Alice Smith. If this was a RAOK, you're still an angel for sharing it with us anyway. Thanks again,

 | Tonya I saw how you handle it when you run across duplicates, I have found some duplicates but I get some ugly answers when I tell the last entry submitted to delete. Sometimes they get down right ugly and I always write the best note saying I am trying to help Find A Grave and Staff to keep the cemetery records straight. Well to some it doesn't matter so I like the form you use and I am going to try. I was getting down about myself but I knew in my heart I am doing nothing wrong except trying to make something right. Thanks for letting me happen upon your form for duplicates, You sound like a beautiful person, if you get a chance go to Natatlie Mechele Bright and visit my beautiful daughter, You lifted my Spirits Tonya and I don't even know you. God Bless you honey, If I can help you just let me know. I am a pure country girl(old lady) 65. Well I have talked enough but my heart is happy once again and God sent me to you. | Cleaning Tombstones You might like to try D2 which is fabulous and extremely safe cleaner. It is used at Arlington National Cemetery so you know it's safe. | | | Ann Parkinson
 | RE: Link All adjustments made. THANKS! | | | Doug Crews
 | Crews Thanks, there sure are a lot of Crews' out there. | | | Doug Crews
 | Hello Just wanted to say hello. I've been looking through Find A Grave, came across your name. My Grandfather was William Newton Crews, buried in Etoniah Cemetary, Bardin (Palatka), FL. He came to Palatka from St. George, GA. His parents and many of his relatives are buried in Boone's Creek Cemetary in Charlton County. I'm sure we are related to all the Crews' in South GA and North East Florida. Take Care. Doug Crews | | | Wiregrass Irisheyes
 | James Daniel SWEAT Hi Tonya,
We are indeed related. Your James Daniel SWEAT is my 3rd cousin, 3x's removed (per my Family Tree Maker). Our common ancestor is William "of Hunt's Bluff" SWEAT and wife Lucretia "Lucy" TURBEVIL. You descend by son Nathaniel "Nathan" SWEAT, R.S.. I descend by son Thomas Jefferson SWEAT, R.S. and wife Mary "Polly" [--?--].
Such a small world after all ... :o))
Happy Researching Cousin! Pamela (aka Irisheyes)

 | James A. SWEAT and Elizabeth Crews SWEAT Greetings Tonya,
Thank you for posting at F.A.G. I just found two cousins thanks to your hard work!
I have two corrections for internments at the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL. If you would update them please, when you have time, this would greatly appreciated:
James A. SWEAT His DOB is incorrect. It should be 06 JUL 1838. He was born in New River (nka Bradford) County, Florida, the son of Samuel R. SWEAT and Susan Marian WALDEN. They are assumed buried in Baker Co, FL.
Elizabeth SWEAT She is actually Elizabeth Crews SWEAT, born 15 APR 1835 in Camden Co, GA; d/o Elias CREWS and Mary BEASLEY. She and James married OCT 1860 in Baker County, Florida.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'll be happy to help.
Thank you again and Happy Researching! :o) | | |
