Thank you for the great effort in documenting that no marker exists. Her husband died 34 years later and I'm still trying to find out where he is buried. Wish me luck.

Hi, thanks for your post regarding the Nichols family. I've been busy dealing with the recent death of a close family member, so I haven't had time to put up memorial for the Nichols. Feel free to post a "bare-bones" memorial if you haven't already, and then you could always transfer management to me.

I am giving a presentation on the Sultana disaster to my DAR chapter in April. If you have something to contribute I would love to hear it. I had three members of my family who were on it. Two made it thru, one didn't. Of the two who made it thru, Edmond Welch died only 6 years later.I would love to hear anything you might know.
