I am Elaine Wilson Toomey and I live in Jacksonville, FL. This is a joint effort with my daughter Tonya Pate to preserve information for future generations. We call our efforts "cemetery hoppin." Please request corrections through the edit tab at the top of the memorial screen. I will be more than happy to add additional information, make corrections or transfer memorials. |
Many thanks to all of the contributors that endures ant bites, bee stings, and thorns in an effort to take pictures of memorials! I've felt your pain!
We are always in search for information on the following names: Geiger, Harris Wilson, Crews, Register, Robinson, & Ayers.

You're welcome. I was glad to do it.

Great to hear from you Elaine! It's always nice meeting new cousins. I would be surprised if I weren't related to you somehow. I have never been to the Old Beulah Cemetery but I remember my Grandma going there on certain days to help with groundskeeping. My parents and grandparents are in the New Beulah Cemetery across the road so about 5 generations of my family are in both. I believe Margaret Geiger Sapp (my 2x great grandmother) is Mary A Geiger Harris's sister which is probably how I am related to the Harris family. I remember my grandmother's 2nd cousin, Bonn Thomas. A sweet little lady that lived on Kingsley Lake. Maybe she is part of your Thomas family. Also, Rebecca Wilson Lane is my 3x great grandmother but I am descended from her 1st husband who was a Jackson. I am related to all of the Sapps there. But again, I am amazed at all the work you have done on findagrave. What a great thing to do for future generations.

Hi Elaine, you can disregard my previous message I left for you. I called Camp Blanding and was given a number to call for an appointment to visit the cemetery. Thank you!
I was wondering if you knew how I can gain access to the old Beulah cemetery in Camp Blanding? I am pretty much related to everyone buried there. My 2x great grandmother was Margaret Geiger Sapp (memorial number 23080764). If you are related to the Geiger, we are probably distant cousins. Also, I emailed about 3 edits to you. No rush, of course;)
Thank you for all the work you do!

I went to SAC and put in the info--let me know if this went through. Thanks.

Dear Ms. Toomey:
I would like to request the transfer of two memorials you created--James Paul Prevatt and Lovie Starling Prevatt--they are my great grandparents. I would appreciate this very much and I want to also thank you for creating their memorials.
|Sunnie Daze||Chandler-Sayers Memorial|
Thank you so much for the recent transfer of Eva Chandler Sayers to me. Means so much to me. Blessings,
|Janis Wallace||RE: Photo's|
You're welcome. Janis
|Dennis Hitzing||Allen Starling|
Elaine - Your edit suggests that the name on Allen Starling's memorial page be changed to William Allen Starling. That was his father's name. His gravestone says his name was simply "Allen". What information do you have that says otherwise?
|Jennifer Taylor Nichols||RE: 101236827 Jesse Wilson Sr.|
Thank you for responding. I realize that you maintain the memorial and did not create it initially. I thought I should advise you as the manager that I, also (as well as another member) have pointed out the improper photo and asked for it to be removed. Your bio is well written and clarifies the error.
