I am Elaine Toomey and I live in Jacksonville, FL. This is a joint effort with my daughter Tonya Pate to preserve information for future generations. We call our efforts "cemetery hoppin." Hi, My name is Connie Beth. Sarah Register Born 1838 Laurens Co., GA Died Sabine County, TX 1885. note: w/o W.H. Bragg Sarah's # 13824693 Buried New Hope Cemetery, Milam, Sabine County, TX William Herman Bragg (W. O. Bragg) Nov 1834-Dec 1906 # 13824698 At his site, listed that he was in the Louisiana Calvary in the Confederate States Army. There is a picture of him and a pregnant woman that states it was made in 1900, after Grandma Sarah had passed. So his second wife's name was Nancy Catherine Nichols Bragg. She was born in 1855 in GA and died in the same year as William Herman - 1906. Sabine County. # 13824686. So both of his wives were born in GA and both died in Sabine County and both say Note: w/o W.H. Bragg. Don't know the placing of their stones. But sounds like the three of them are close to each other.
Their son was David Benjamin Bragg who married Naomie Leona Dorsey. Their daughter was Sarah Frances (Sallie) Bragg who married Bea Sanders. Bea and Sallie had Vilas and David Glen. Vilas married Edna Earl Wise and they had Vilas Earl. He married Ruby Carlene Adams. And they had me. | | | Cullen and Jeanne

I have been searching for years, for proof. My family has always told me he was buried there with his wfe and some children that stayed in the area. I will continue to look for proof but I wanted to have a place for him on findagrave.

I will be more than happy to add any information to Grandpa Wilson. He is my 4th great Grandfather and so that makes us family! Have been researching the Wilson, Bennett, and Oglesby family about 20 years.
Which of his children are you related to? Sarah is my 3rd great grandmother.
