Researching (among other families) pioneer families in Oregon, especially eastern Oregon. Got started in genealogy at a young age, spurred on by my maternal grandmother (who would be disappointed by some of the family myths I have had to demolish, but likely pleased by some of the new ones I've uncovered). Daughter, sister, mother, and soon to be grandmother! Current location: Washington state, but a lot of our summer vacations seem to take us back to eastern Oregon, where my children are used to piling out of the car with instructions, "look for (some family name)!"
