I am a lifelong resident of New Jersey and I love genealogy, quilts--and cemeteries. I am currently photographing gravestones in Essex and Morris counties; also in the Lake Placid area of NY. I enjoy adding genealogy info and will gladly add links or information to any of the memorials I've posted. Veterans are near and dear to my heart--never to be forgotten.

Connie Beck	RE: SAMUEL SAYRE I don't know if this is my end of the line Samuel Sayre or not. Mine was married to a "Sarah C," whatever that means. Wouldn't you bet that the "C" is the first letter of her maiden name? Isn't that the way they wrote it back then? It seems like I have tried everything to figure him out.
