Drewry Cemetery - Tippah County, Mississippi
Hi Bonnie,

I have posted your photo requests in this cemetery. I used the new Beta photo uploaded and it doesn't look like it sent you a notification. Could you remove your photo requests?

Thanks, Kathy

Shelby County Cemetery (defunct)
In reply to the message you left on my contributor page.... Many were buried in the Shelby County Cemetery located on North Watkins in the Frayser Community of Memphis. It is now the sight of the Frayser Community Center and a memorial has been erected indicating the number of unmarked interments there. Although I'm not aware of an actual listing of those buried there, it may be of help to use the Shelby County Register's site which lists deaths in Shelby County, TN, by year. Many of the stillborns are listed as "infant of ...." and you may find this site of assistance in your search. If I may be of help in your research please send me an email with the parents' names and I will be happy to try and help. Carole (carolemccaig@email.com)

RE: James Barnes
You are welcome. This tombstone is on private property and difficult to find. The property owner took me there in 1998.

RE: Merging Cemetaries
I don't know how to do merges either. I think the merged name should be Casey as that's how the historical sign near the cemetery spells the area now. I'd be happy to get and post a picture of the historical sign if you'd like.

Merging Cemetaries
Merry Christmas! I'm writing to you to ask that you kindly merge Cayce Cemetery in Goose Creek, Berkeley County, SC http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2355450&CScn=Cayce& with Casey Cemetery http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2154522&CScn=Casey&CScntry=4&CSst=43&CScnty=2320& in order to avoid confusion as they are the same place with your spelling being the older version and the other being the newer version. Thank you in advance.

tree
Bonnie, your welcome. I know that the people that take care of the cemetery won't remove things that people plant. But if the tree is left it will end up destroying the plot and the headstone. I've seen this in many of the older cemeteries that I have been to. I don't know if you live here or not but if you need help with it just let me know.

Susan
