Your request for a photo of the grave for Esther Slaughter at New Lorimier Cemetery here in Cape Girardeau, Mo. - I went up to the cemetery today and no new grave has been dug and while her name is on the stone with Roy Slaughter, I don't believe she has passed away yet. I also looked for her in recent obituaries and did not find her nor on ancestry.com. Please let me know if I am wrong. Ruth Smith

You are welcome, glad to be of help.

You're welcome! There were stones also for George, Carrie, and Anna Dice. I took pictures of them also in case they might be wanted. Just let me know!

I'd be happy to upload the pics as soon as you create the memorial for G. Lonnie & Janice. As for James, are you going to combine the two memorials to make one correct one? I believe the photos are uploaded to the one with the 1840 date of birth. Please let me know how I can help! Cyndi

Tracy, I believe there are duplicate entries for James N. with two different dates of birth. There is one with a birth date of 1838 and another one with 1840. The stone I found is the same one already pictured for James N. memorial number 21498291. He has a civil war headstone and then another one with his (wife) Jane L. I don't want to upload the pics and create a duplicate. Can you look into the birth dates and see which one might be correct? Additionally, there is a brand new headstone for a G. Lonnie and Janice A McCullough, who appear to both still be alive. If they are related, do you want to create memorials for the picture of their stone? Thanks for your help, Cyndi p.s. sorry it took so long for me to get to the last of these, I just wanted to make sure they were all correct. Thanks, Cyndi

I think my husband and I found all of the photos you requested (and possibly one more that isn't listed in the cemetery yet). I hope to finish posting them tomorrow. Thanks, Cyndi

You are most welcome! My husband and I plan on going back tomorrow to take more for you. I almost need to take some hedge trimmers for one of them, the stone is almost completely covered by shrubs! Hopefully I will have more for you tomorrow. I have a question, how did you get the plot numbers for most of your requests? I'm guessing from the death certificates? We don't have a plot map for Duplain, but we will do our best to help you out! Thanks, Cyndi

Glen Geirland originally created all of the memorials for Duplain Cemetery. He did so based on there being a marker. My wife and I have taken the burial listings and added memorials for any that did not have a stone. With that said, it is highly unlikely that there is a stone for any memorials my wife and I have created.

It seems that the memorial you request a photo of is a duplicate of another memorial created by Glen Geirland. We put up photos on the original memorial. You can view the photos there.
