My family's roots are in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. My father's father's side of the family have been in the Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia since the early 1800's; my father's mother's family came over from Ireland in the 1850's and 1860's and settled in Ohio. My father was born in West Virginia, but the family came to California in 1930. I was born in California and which is where I still live. My mother's mother's family came from Sicily in the first decade of the 1900's; my mother's father's family has roots in the same places in Ohio that my father's family did.|

You recently posted on his memorial page... I am researching his wife, as her 1st husband was my grandfather. Juanita's maiden name was McKinnon, I assume she was married to a Rickerd before she married Harry. Do you have any more information on her or her previous husband, the one whose last name was Rickerd? Thank you so much! ~Myra

Hi Jerry, I was able to find their son's Paul R. Bowles obit (I posted it on Find a Grave if you need a copy) and it also lists his mother as Mary Peters Bowles. I am having trouble locating her burial place because she isnt buried with Frank, evidently she had a first husband by the last name Brown and I think she may be buried with him. I was able to find her and Frank's marriage record and thats how I found she was married before...The mystery continues! LOL!

Hi Jerry, do you have any information on Franks first wife Mary?
|B. Morrow||Joseph Blakeley|
Jerry - You left flowers on grave of Lawrence E. Blakeley at Spring Grove Cemetery in Columbiana Co OH noting that he was the son of Joseph Blakeley and Etta Roseberg. We are related to Etta and I have no information on Joseph and not much on their children. Do you have any information that you could share on this family - it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks - Bettie Morrow

Thank you! My great grandmother was Laura Carnahan sister to E. Maud Carnahan. My grandmother, Evelyn Mau, talked about Hazel but we were not sure how she was connected.
|Cindy Brandolino||Hazel Grimm|
Do you know who Hazel Grimm's parents were? I think she was my grandmothers first cousin. Thanks.
|Lyn||RE: John Alvin Swan|
Thank you, Jerry. My Swans are late-comers. Didn't get here until 1850s but they may have had kin already in the US. Never was able to prove any but there are definitely one or two I suspect from census and other records...lyn

|LF||Margaret Bailey - New Cumberland|
I found another more modern stone for Charles and Margaret Bailey at New Cumberland Cemetery. It has a different date of death for Margaret (Mar 25, 1949)than what you had posted.
