My name is Samantha Walker. I live in East Texas. My Aunt Jane (my mom's sister) and I like to help people with photo request. I feel like when helping others, you are paying it forward.
My mom, Phyllis Ann Stacy Villarreal, passed away October 27, 2007. She was only 59. She was a very special lady and a strong person. I learned a lot from her. I hope that I can pass the knowledge down to my daughter.
My mom's middle name was Ann. In our family the middle name Ann has been passed down for a long time. My daughter's middle name is Ann. My sister's have also given their girls the middle name Ann.
In 2008, I found my dad's family. My name at birth was Samantha Ann Mitchell. Yes, S.A.M. :) I met several of the Mitchell family on Oct 16th-19th 2008. I look forward to meeting more. My dad's name was Oskar Johnny Mitchell.
I married Robert Wallker in August 1986. We started dating in 1982. We have one daughter. She is great! Robert's parents were fantastic people.
I have been interested in family history for a long time. I am hooked on Find A Grave. I find this website very interesting and informational. In fact, I found a Daughter-in-Law of my Aunt (my dad's sister) on Find A Grave. Needless to say, this is a great site.
