I'm retired, doing genealogy work & enjoy helping on the findagrave.com website. I'm a proud Okie., born & raised in Oklahoma. I am of Cherokee decent, as my Great Grandfather and Grandfather signed the Dawes Rolls. I have been doing my 'Long' family tree for years and have found so many cousins online.
It has certainly been interesting and most enjoyable meeting and hearing from new distant family members. I have learned so much about
my ancestors and their lives down through the generations, I hope to perserve their memories for future generations to come. This is why I like working on the findagrave site, hoping to help others looking for their loved ones. I have found others to be very helpful and kind to share information.
My husband and I are enjoying our church, family & early retirement.

So sorry I cannot help you on finding any more info on David Long! Good Luck to you on your search. I never ever find anyone with any information at the cemetery when I have gone for taking photos or visiting my dad's grave. So wish I could assist you more!

They sound like very special people. My mother visited her Uncle Alvie and Aunt Effie and there were two of the girls in some of her pictures, but I am unsure as to which ones they are.
