|I've been searching our family ancestry for about 5 years. Most of the work is done on Ancestry.com.|
I just recently found this website.

|Audra Springer||David James stone|
David James (memorial #22568275)vin the Great Valley Baptist Church cemetery in Devon, Penn, is a direct descendant of mine. I can't make out what half the tombstone says. Can you help?

We do not have Anna Yeakley (b. 1740 d. 1828) in our Lost Creek Mennonite cemetery record. Do you have access to a record that shows which row she might be buried in the Lost Creek Mennonite cemetery?

I will be more than happy to take another look for you. My memory is not what it used to be but as I recall the Stanley stone was the only one in a gap. Many stones are broken off at the ground level and some have empty plots next to them. When I go back I will photo the Stanley grave and surrounding area.
|Rob Johnson||Cooper Photo Request|
I just received the email about your photo request. Unfortunately, there is no documentation of John Cooper's grave location. According to the records of Center Church, he doesn't have a stone in their crypt and according to the "bible" of New Haven old graves, "New Haven Tombstones Prior to 1800," a stone didn't exist for him in 1800. I'm not sure how much you may know about New Haven graves, but many thousands of people were buried on the green in the early years. When Center Church was built, the level of the green was raised and some of the graves ended up in a crypt in the basement of the church. Some of the stones that were left on the green at that time were carried over to the then-new Grove Street Cemetery and were placed against the back wall in alphabetical order. Unfortunately, many graves never had stones and many others have had their stones lost to time. Center Church estimates that there are approx. 5,000-10,000 unidentified remains still under the green. You can check the "Crypt" page of the Church's website for more info: http://www.newhavencenterchurch.org/crypt.html
I hope this helps, if I can help in any other way let me know,

David James is my 7th great grandfather, are you related to him also?
|Velma Dalton||George Stonebraker|
There are several stones that have Peony bushes grown over them. We will go back once these die off so we can see the stones. Hopefully we can find your families stones then.
Have a great day
|Velma Dalton||George StoneBraker|
We went to Bunker Hill cemetery today to fulfill your photo request. We did not find George or Mary Stonebraker. There is a George Stonebraker born Feb. 19, 1825 and died June 15, 1893. His wife Martha Stonebraker is on the same stone. Her name is Martha A and her birthdate is Oct. 3, 1829 and death date is Feb. 8, 1911. Next to them is a stone for William born Nov. 30, 1865 and died Feb. 10 1907. William's stone says son of George and Martha. I don't know if these Stonebrakers are related too you. Sorry we could not find them for you.
Have a great day
John and Velma
Today was a beautiful say to be in Southold. 70+ degrees and sunny. :)
I also added a photo for Philemon Dickerson (1613-1672), listed on findagrave as PhilemAn Dickerson. What an extensive inscription! Please take a look. It looks as if Philemon may have been your Peter's father.

Others buried in Section 1, Lot 134 that have grave stone markers are: Robert C. Campbell, Anna E. Campbell, Henry C. Campbell, Emma Carlin, Frank M. Carlin, Robert E. Carlin, Mary A. Carlin, and Orson A. Carlin (1894-1907). The only one here that doesn't have a memorial page is Orson. I already added the grave photos for all of the others.
