Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogical research for 47 years. This site allows me to share the information I have gathered. Some of my lines are Guthery, Brock, Bradley, Speegle, McCain, Hardiman, Miles, and Cheatham. My husband's lines include Farmer, Woody, Childress, Allison, Chambers, Reynolds, and Mays.

I am organizing my research for my children and grandchildren and sharing with anyone who is interested.

Until today i did not know that Alabama had raised a Union 1st Cavalry. Thanks for teaching me something new.

RE: Memorial 32310871
My 3rd great grandfather is Abraham Miles. Thanks for the info -
My family in Alabama live about 20 miles from where he is buried in Salem, Lee County, AL. William, his brother, is your line - who did he marry?

RE: Memorial 32310871
Thanks for your reply -- he is actually my 4th great grandfather. The Miles and Kennon on my side go back to a lot of revolutionary soliders. I have not been able to find where he and his wife were buried. I do know they were last living in Louina, Chambers, County, Alabama. It has Wedowee, AL on death but have not found a cemetery. It must be an unmarked grave.

Thanks again,
Carol

Necie Guthery
Hi, Trish. You made such a nice memorial for Necie Guthery (parents Elcana and Drusilla Jones Guther) that I wanted to let you know that she is buried at Shedd Cemetery, same as her parents. There is an entry for her there with a picture of her headstone, Find A Grave Memorial# 141513796.
