Hello all! I have recently begun work on my family history. At this point the main names I am working on are Redd, Partin, Williams, and Garner on my father's side. On my mother's side Maitland, Henry, Huskey, and Miller. I will no doubt be adding others as I go along. On my wife's side names are Howie, Flounders, Grant and more to come.|
My work here on Find A Grave is to try and help others who can't visit their family. Unfortunately I know very little if anything about the vast majority of my entries.
My major interest is the Civil War. I just can't find time to read all I want to. I am a member of several CW organizations and also local history and genealogy groups.

I would certainly appreciate it if you'd delete two grave stone pictures you posted on the memorial for "Charles Bailey, Sr.". Since your postings, Mr. Bailey's wife has passed (2008) & a picture was posted with updated info on the grave stone. There's a free memorial photo limit (max 5 pictures) on a standard memorial page. I would like to add two pictures of Mr. Bailey (one as a young Lieutenant & the other of him in his golden years) without having to sponsor & paying a memorial cost. Again, your consideration & action is very much appreciated towards helping me to further honor the life & legacy of a brave WWII serviceman. Thank you sir!
What's your connection to the Snadow family members whose footstones you photographed?
I would like your permission to post some of your cemetery photos to my tree at Ancestry.com. I would also like to thank you for making these Memorials and Photos available to researchers. They help tremendously. Emmy

Thank you very much for the transfers. I am so excited to have these under management. You made my day! Dede
Are you related to Richard Lee King buried in the same cemetery as Alfred King?
If so, I would enjoy corresponding with you.

I am Gordon Lee Pierce's 2nd. and 5th. cousin.
Would you transfer his memorial over to me. I would like to put him with his Father, Mother,Sister & brother-in-law and wife. This would tie him in with his 8 Aunts & Uncles and there spouses and children. His Grandfather & my grandfather were brothers that married sisters.

When I was a boy my father told me about this man. Then 50 years later after joining findagrave I found out about him thru different resources. He was a wrestler & promoter. As a contributor could I have your help? Please go on my Homepage to the first vitual cemetery, A-Forest Lawn Cemetery VA CLICK. Go to James CLICK. Read Bio, scroll down & vote. Has the older generation in your area ever Heard of him?
