I did receive your email thanks! My Francoise is indeed an Aunt (however many times Great). I have been involved with a large project lately and have not been able to respond. I will soon. Thanks Jim

RE: Burtons--St Marys
Maybe I have an answer. I started two new Burton memorials for gravestones I found in the old section.
1.Julian Burton--(May 19, 1814 -- Apr 2, 1853)

2. Louis Burton--(Sep 29, 1809 -- Apr 2, 1888)

could these be the same as you are referring to??

Burtons--St Marys
I was unable to find Eulalie on this trip. However I did add: John Henry, John Melvin, Margaret and Vernon. I also started memorials for Julian, Louis and William--who appear to be the first Burtons here.

I was on another Find A Grave member's wall and saw you post something on Bertrand (one of my lines). It would appear that our Bertrand's come from the same village in Canada (Saint-Mathias). My ancestor Marie-Francoise Bertrand was born there in 1754. Perhaps we are related. Her Find A Grave Memorial # is 125613756 . I have a great deal of research/info if you connect. Thanks, Jim

RE: Arnold Kahler's Children
Good luck with piecing this family together one fact at a time, Kathy. I will eventually get over to the mausoleum and try to locate the crypt for Edna and Arnold for you. All fingers crossed!

RE: Arnold Kahler's Children
Kathy, it's interesting to read what the Highlands Cem. office had on the two girls, especially that the infant was moved and reburied, which makes me think she was born before Joyce and when Joyce died, they wanted their two girls together. Always a very sad story to see the children did not live.

The photos are up and I hope you find them suitable.

Did you find out where Arnold is buried in the cemetery (and apparently wife Edna)?

Arnold Kahler's Children
Hi Kathy,

I have photos for two side-by-side markers in Highlands Cem. for Joyce Ann Kahler 1930-1934 and for "Infant Daughter" of Arnold and Edna Kahler. I am assuming they were sisters by the same parents. There was no other Kahler grave marker near them, though.

If you would like to make memorials for them and make two Requests for photos, I will upload to each an individual marker shot and a pair shot with landscape.

Am posting the Alexander Culbertson plot. There is also an Archie Culbertson (1875-1877) buried there. If you want to start a page for him, I will post that photo as well
