RE: John McCracken 1811-1897
This is Eliza Louisa Mashburn born in 1829. I have her married to Robert McCracken John McCrackens brother in 1854. She was also married to a Smith. If she was married to John it was late in his life, I believe they married in the 1890's. I cannot find proof of any of her marriages or where she is buried. The Elizabeth # 26233512 is her sister. I feel Eliza Louisa should be in the Upper Campground Cemetery but it is possible she married again after John. Thanks for All your help. Jennie

John McCracken 1811-1897
I would like to know if the Jno McCracken whose stone you photographed in the upper campground cemetery was married to Eliza Louisa Mashburn Smith. I believe she was his third wife. Is the Mary he shares a stone with a daughter. I hope you can help me with my research. Jennie

We all have our SENIOR MOMENTS, it seems mine come a little more often as the yrs go by. No problem with John Jones, I will look the next time I go by there. You may need to delete the first request and post another for John Jones. I left Dodge City in 1960. LeAry
