Bio and Links
I live near Cincinnati, Ohio and retired in Sep 2015.

I have no problem transferring memorials (if they are not my family) or with use of any pictures I have posted. This is not a race for achievement or even a great contribution to life. This should be done out of respect, desire to preserve and actual interest in the project. I have always enjoyed walking cemeteries, which I inherited from my mother. I enjoy reading the stones and marveling over the craftsmanship in the old stone carvings (not like today's laser carvings) and my one regret is to see the older stones visibly wearing away a little each year. My kudos to those who restore or replace the stones so those who lay beneath are not lost for all time.

I hope to have more time to devote to this and to improve my picture taking skills. I do better on cloudy days and my eyes have deteriorated so it is difficult, but good exercise and even if no pictures are taken I still find it enjoyable -like reading a good book.

I. Quintus McKeever - Duplicates
Dear Concerned Find-A-Gave Contributors and visitors,

Regarding: DUPLICATE MEMORIALS in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia,Rockingham Va,Hardy WV and surrounding area.

A former large volume F-A-G Contributor had a dispute with Find-A-Grave staff and Deleted some 80% or more, of their contributed memorials, estimated to be about 40,000 or so. Thus causing the rest of us local Contributors, over the last year or more, to re-enter those family, friends and distant relatives we noted were missing.

Once F-A-G had decided to take positive action, they reloaded all the Deleted memorials from that former F-A-G Contributor, on Wednesday, 25feb2015. F-A-G staff, undoubtedly knew they would cause tens of thousands of Duplicates, and assigned their staffer, known as 'ProjectMgr' to work through their Merge process.

Please be patient and allow F-A-G to work through the entire group of Duplicate memorials.

Thank you.

PS
If anyone gets Find A Grave to transfer memorials cared for by ProjectMgr Just a heads up I dont delete any connected to ProjectMgr.I worked hard to replace all the memorials that had been deleted.Find A Grave choice to re-upload the Old Deleted memorials And we work free on this site.So if anyone wants our memorials Have Find A Grave Merge them or if you dont have a problem merging then more power to you.

I do want to thank anyone that has helped with my duplicants created after the major upload of old memorials formerly deleted.I really appreciate the help.

RE: Dwelle family in Kelley Cemetery, Kelley's Island
Feel free to use any of the pictures that I take and put out there. I happened to be on Kelley's Island and we found the cemetery. Out of habit, I started taking pictures. When we got home to Holland, Michigan, I put them out on the site. I love having people discover pictures that are important to them.

Have a great day!

Notes
Did you ever get your requested memorial transfer from Betty Orme? If so, how many times did you have to request it? I know I also requested, but have not received anything in return. Thanks.

RE: Althouse
Sorry, just now seeing this. You should have emailed me, I would have sent that right away.

If your tree is private and if you put down the source, which is me, yes, you can use my photos. You may not redistribute them to anyone else please.

RE: Althouse
That will be fine as long as you give me credit. I know, I know, no one will see them since your tree is private, but I've been having serious issues with people using my photos with out my permission and then getting hostile with me when I as them to remove them from their Ancestry trees.

Thanks for asking, I really appreciate it.
