I have been doing family history research since 1971 for both my family and my husband's family. The areas of most concentration are: Huntington, Wells, Allen and Whitley Counties in Indiana; Fairfield, Preble, Trumbull and Wayne Counites in Ohio; Shenandoah and Rockingham Counties in Virginia; and Berks and Lancaster Counties in Pennsylvania.

I am now working with beginning family history researchers and enjoying their challenges.

Thank you for photographing tombstones. It helps those who can't travel.

Bailey Descendant
Hello Lois,

I don't know if you are still active on here, but I am your husband's fifth cousin. I recently discovered my connection to the Bailey family in Mahoning/Trumbull counties in Ohio.

RE: Eliza Pearl Hendricks Lane
I'm sorry but what is listed on the memorial site is all I know about Eliza. She was my father-in-law (Calvin) mom.
The grandkids all remember traveling to TN to visit her but they were too young to really remember anything about her and all her children have now died.
You might check with the funeral home and see if they have an obit for her, I could not find one online.

Clarissa (Caley) Sonner

Thanks again! As I stated with George's memorial page, I am very pleased to receive their memorials, and will take very good care with them. Thank you so very much! Also I received the invite to your family. Thank you for that also! I have not reviewed it as of yet, but be assured, I will! I do not have access to a public tree, as my funds are limited ( I am disabled, and retired), but I'll try to figure how to share my side with you ( if you like)!

George A.G. Sonner

I am Bruce Sonner. I am the GGG Grandson of George A. G. Sonner. I would like to request the memorials of George (Find A Grave# 22301464) & his wife Clarissa (Caley) Sonner (Find A Grave# 22301470) be transferred to me so I may connect the family to them.
I respectfully request transfer, and appreciate all that you have done to establish this memorial.
I would also request linking Nora Jane (Sonner) Byrd (Find A Grave # 22301459) to her father George A. G.

Thanks for your help!

Christian Freehafer, III
This is a correction to my last post... I was thinking this was the immigrant when I wrote my last message, but in fact this is the son of the immigrant. He might have been referred to as a "Junior" however, he was not a "III" descendant. Sorry for the confusion!

Where did the "III" designation come from? Please remove the "III" designation after Christian Freehafer's name. He is not a 3rd generation Christian Freehafer. If he used any such designation (not known that he did), then he would have been the first ("I"). "Senior" would be more appropriate because he had a son named Christian. But his father was not named Christian. Thanks.
