Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been on Find A Grave since October 2007. The amount of time I spend working on the profiles I manage varies. I rarely have the opportunity to travel or visit cemeteries, but add photos whenever possible. For that reason I am not listed as a volunteer. I am impressed by the dedicated Find A Grave members who help other members with their requests and create/manage so many profiles.

Virginia,

I photographed his portrait that hangs in the Essex courthouse. I thought you would like to see the addition. Seasons Greetings!

Shatto Memorials In Willow Cemetery
Dear Valeehill:

Thanks so much for transferring the 3 Shatto memorials in Willow Cemetery to me... much appreciated.

I have made the edits and links to develop them already.

Wishing you all the best and take good care, Barry

The cemetery description in this site for "Our Mother of Sorrows" is very misleading because it focuses on the plight of "Saint Thomas Cemetery".

Actually, Our Mother of Sorrows is very well maintained and administerd and is beautiful. The small section of where Saint Thomas remains were moved to, even if unmarked would be very well documented and the staff would easily answer any questions.

Rest assured that your familys markers and plots are very well cared for and it was pleasure and no problem taking these photos. I included the photo of Sylvia and Dolores if you want to create memorials for them and can also upload an additional photo showing the twom family markers together. Feel free to use the photos for any purpose I have uploaded for your family.

Shattos in Willow Cemetery
Thank you for the photos for Henry Shatto in Willow Cemetery. Ans also for creating memorials for his parents. I added them to his family links.

Do you know if the forth stone is for Henry's sister Ruby Shatto born circa 1879?

Back of Headstone
Did you know that there are two more people listed on the back of the stone?

Extra pics
I have added pics to Max and Alice Hill in Mount Olivet. No insult meant to the pics you added, I only wanted to show how well the site is tended. Please change the order of the pics to give their photos top billing where they should be.

Happy Tree Building,

I see a picture of her headstone and wondered how you might be related to her. She is my great great grand aunt. Cathy Feliciano Alberti/calberti@aol.com

RE: Lau Chong
Thanks for all your help with additional information, but I think this stone, if still there, will be very difficult to find. Probably less than 20% chance of anyone locating it without specific location info. Much of the cemetery is inaccessible and many stones broken or missing. Yes, I can read the Chinese characters, so that was not a problem. I had to give up the claim because time had run out, but also I had to face reality. If you want to send me your email address (I'm at marnweeks@nospam-aol.com - take out the nospam-) I can send you some images of the cemetery for your own use in lieu of the specific stone. About 100 chickens live there. :)
