International Wargraves Photography Project
I more or less solved the mystery. He served as J Johnson, which is inscribed. Normally the CWGC places the true name and adds another "line" showing what name he would have served under. I have notified the CWGC.

Thanks so much Sheila and if you need any help with finding your family here in the usa just let me know.I am able to do searches on the ancestry website and on other sites too.I've become pretty good at finding things. Not bragging lol but I have spent quite a bit of time researching ancestors.

I live in Wisconsin so I have a lot of snow up here and I am thinking about spring already! can't wait to get back to my gardening.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Hi Shelia,

Yes I would really appreciate a photo of their headstone. It's my husbands grandparents and since we are in the USA now he can't visit at moment.A photo would be the next best thing to being there and I know my husband would like that very much.I've also put in a request for his Aunt Mary Jane Wharmby who is buried very near his grandparents.

Thank you!

Hi Sheila,
You're very welcome for the photos. Glad I could make a contribution to your project. I was surprised to see a Christmas tree for each marker, someone is certainly taking care of them.
Merry Christams,
