I know this is not the correct mode to use in requesting an edit or transfer. I have read your profile and see that you are not available very often. I have made several requests for this memorial, which I am sure, you have never seen. This is my grandmother, way down the line. I would like to add a lot to this memorial. Will you please transfer to me. Thank you for considering.

Hi J.G., its Eli again. I saw your other memorial to W. H.. Do you know what the W. H. stands for. I think this may be my 3rd great grandfather. I have him down for being born in 1847 but my date could be wrong. I have the names but want to see what you have. First time I may have his grave location. Look forward to hearing from you sometime. Sincerely, Eli Chandler

Hi J. G., I saw your memorial to J. Shealy Dubose who is a great-great aunt or uncle of mine. Do you know which this is? Is J. Shealy a man or woman? I also saw where you are interested in Dubose`s. If you are related that is great. I am looking for Dubose graves too. It is one of my great grandmothers lines. There is a famous Dubose book out of print with all my Dubose`s in it but I don`t have a copy. It was written by a woman in Atlanta I believe. Are you familiar with it? Just hoping we might compare notes sometime. Sincerely, Eli Chandler

Hello Mr. Ivey, We would like to bring to your attention that Dr. William Jones Gautier and his wife Mary Eliza Jane Hora, had a daughter named Lucy B. Gautier who was born abt 1864 as seen on the 1870 Macon Co, Alabama Census. The family starts on Line #1 of page 34 of that census and Lucy was recorded as a 6-yr old female child on Line #7. Dr. Wm. J. Gautier's family was recorded on page 410 of the 1880 Macon Co, Alabama Census on Lines 6 thru 12. Lucy B. Gautier is recorded on Line #10 as L. B. Gautier. The census taker listed her as a "W"hite person; her gender erroneously listed as "M"ale; her age as 15; and in the next column listed her relationship to head-of-the-house as "DAUGHTER". That would make Lucy B. Gautier's year of birth on that 1880 census at abt 1865. We bring this to your attention because you have the year of birth for the Lucy B. Gautier, daughter of Dr. Wm. J. & Mary [Hora] Gautier as 1844. Dr. Wm. J. Gautier and Mary Eliza Jane Hora were married on 25 November 1853 in New York City, New York. ~ We believe the confusion stems from the 1860 Macon Co, Alabama Census on page 705 where Dr. Wm. J. Gautier's family was enumerated on Lines 28 thru 33. On Line #33, there is a Lucy Gautier age 14, born (abt 1845/46) in Texas. We believe this Lucy Gautier to be the niece of Dr. Wm. J. Gautier. We also believe her to be the daughter of Dr. Peter William Gautier, Jr., brother of Dr. Wm. J. Gautier. This older Lucy Gautier was enumerated with her parents on the 1850 Brazoria Co, Texas Census as the 128th family visited and recorded on Lines 5 thru 10. Lucy was recorded on Line #10 of that census as Lucy A. (Jr.) Gautier, a 5-yr old female born in Texas; making her birth year abt 1844/45. We hope you'll consider this information and adjust the age of Lucy B. Gautier, daughter of Dr. Wm. J. & Mary Gautier to reflect the approximate year of her birth as 1864/65. Thank you for your time. We'd enjoy hearing from you.
