They are in the correct cemetery now. I too am related to McGaughey's. My GGGGrandfather was Alexander McGaughey married to a woman named Catharine Carroll from NY. I know nothing about Alexander or any of his immediate family. I've been searching for years. His memorial is 70402455. This man lived in Philadelphia and is buried back there. I've always felt he was from somewhere else in PA but with no luck. Any of this sound familiar to you? | | | So Little Time

I looked at all 4 listings for this family. Not sure why you are asking me to remove mine. These two individuals could have been buried in another cemetery and moved at a later date. I will sure check on that possibility. If they are buried in another cemetery, I will make that change.
Per the rules in Find A Grave, the earliest memorial is the one that should not be removed. Therefore, the two dated 2011 are duplicates, not mine. | | | Carol

That stone MAY be visible in the late late fall, but, I will not be here then to check on it.
This cemetery has a lot of VERY old stones, I believe I told you, many broken, many of the large monument types have fallen over or the kids have pushed them off their bases.
The cemetery sits on a hill and just down the hill is a good sized pond/swampy area, I think the ground must heave a lot, or is very very soft.
We know the stone is in that bush somewhere, if you want to look at my blog Tuesday AM, you can see some photos of the bush. Just do a net search on "Reflections From the Fence".
