I found findagrave.com while doing geneology research. It has turned out to be one of the biggest assets in my research. I wanted to be able to give back and decided to become a findagrave member.
At this time I am researching the Birdwell,Harding Rowlett, Milam/Milum, Robertson/Roberson/Robinson, Cato, Malbaff, Thrasher, Mosher, Hook, Wolfe, Gordon, Tucker, Baughman, Eoff, Darnell, Dudley, and Srader, families.
Currently I am doing mostly family and friends, but hope to expand. Occasionally I photograph graves that are not family or friends. Should you find a grave which is not pleasing to you, just let me know and I will gladly change or remove it.
I believe that memorials should belong to family members whenever possible, as family have a personal interest in honoring their relatives and are better able to complete, maintain and improve memorials with additional details and research. I am more than willing to have family members "adopt" them.
Please feel free to use any photos I have posted in your research work.
Recently I have photographed headstones, which are not as clean as I would like, for informational purposes, only to find that contributors account is disabled so they cannot receive suggestions. I have posted those photos for the information they provide. Should you be a family member and wish for them to be removed or transferred to you, I will gladly do so. | |

Hi, I was doing some research on my family and came across Bessie C. Knapheide #106292034. She is listed as Bessie C. Thatcher Knapheide and her name was Bessie C. Myers Knapheide. Her mother Phoebe maiden name is Thatcher. I was wondering if you would be so kind to correct it or if you want to transfer I will do it. Would really appreciate it.
