Bio Photo My name is Sue, I have found Find-A-Grave very helpful in my research. I wanted to help others find their families. I try to put as much info. as I can, I take information from death cert. I belong to site groups, I share their families information. I believe our lost Loved ones should be remembered and honored.

Family Bible !
I found a family Bible and a expert who has many books on this family . It was a Church that once was there not a plantation, he claims. I will leave you the web links !!!! It is so nice to have additional information. It is so nice to share what we all have.

Hi Sue,

Thanks for the info. I had William T.'s step mother as primary so he was out of order, but his birth date places him with Margaret.

The only year I've seen for Margaret's death is (by) 1853. Lewis & Celia Benson married 1 Oct 1853 marriage so I agree Wiley N is the her first known child.

I see the William & Daniel Pinnell you are referring to on your memorial listings.

My 2nd Great Grandparents, James M. & Catherine J. Wilkerson Pinnell, of Crawford, MO, St Louis City, & Grays Harbor, WA.

James M. Pinnell, b Feb 1849 (Crawford), MO, M1
Catherine J. Wilkerson, 19 Dec 1869 Crawford, MO.
M2 Mrs. Barbara E Courier 9 Jun 1910, Montesano, WA. His bio at F.A.G. # 123710281.

Son of:
Lewis William Pinnell (20 Sep 1801 SC - 1865 Crawford, MO) and Margaret Caroline Siegler. (no known graves for either)

James was 10th of 11 ch. by Margaret Pinnell, and had 6 step-sibs. by step-mother Celia Benson.

Daniel Lewis Pinnell, 23 Mar 1852 - 11 Apr 1939, was 11th ch.

William T. Pinnel was 1st of 6 by Celia Benson.

Her obituary is as follows:
Death Of Mrs. Rosina Parr
Mrs. Rosina Parr passed away suddenly at her home near Flint Hill, Thursday morning, July 10, 1947, at the age of 86 years.
Surviving are six sons, Jerome, Henry, Theodore, Leo, Peter and Alex Parr and four daughters, Miss Paulina at home, Miss Hilda of Festus, Mrs. Lena Singer and Mrs. Rose Meinhardt of St. Louis, 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at Pitman funeral home until Saturday morning when funeral services will be held at St. Theodore's Church in Flint Hill, at 9 a.m. Burial in the church cemetery. We extend sympathy.
Wentzville Union Friday July 11, 1947

Thanks sue, its somewhere that is too far away for me to visit. I hope you can learn something because I'll wonder about it until I finally find out. Then I will need to mark it. If you want any other info about caleb's military service in the civil war or family info just ask and I will try and find out more. Thank you for your help. Mary ellen.
