You don't have my grandpa listed as a child of Mathias and Annie, born 1890 passed away 1970 his info is on here
I saw your request for a headstone photo for Julia McLaughlin and noticed someone reported they couldn't find a headstone in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Dougherty, Iowa. I walked the whole cemetery last week taking photos and also took quite a few pics of Daniel's headstone at various times of the day (it is located under a tree directly across from my Walsh family). Julia's name is not located on his headstone nor does she have a headstone marking her grave. However, Daniel has a large plot that is lined with stone and his headstone stands at the head of the area. I took an angle view showing the space that is empty to the right of him (the photo's left)....I will post this for Julia's memorial because she is recorded as being buried there. By the way, I am related to this McLaughlin family with their connection to the McMenimen clan who lived in the area. My great grandmother was Mary Anna McMenimen, the sister of Rose. Thank you Lori for taking the photo of the gravestone of John Davis. It is very much appreciated. Jim Licklider
I took these pictures last summer when I was photographing the whole section. I can try and get cleaner shots later this spring when the ground isn't as soggy, if you would like.....there are so many birds, that clean stones are rare some days....
