We are the daughters of the late Smoky and Dixie (Hesher) Bogart of Gypsum, Kansas. Our parents were very much into genealogy not only of the family but also of Saline and surrounding counties. Please leave a message if you have any questions or corrections to the data we have supplied.
William Phillips My grandmother passed away in 1996 and left me some pictures. One picture is the same as William and Esther with their children. The other photo has William with another man and a lady standing behind them.Could I email that picture to you? Maybe you could tell me who they are?
Tinklers Hello. I have noticed your names with Tinkler photos. I am so hoping to get copies of any photographs of my relatives. My grandmother was Alyse Tinkler (parents Thomas R. Tinkler and Alice Pauline (Manning) Tinkler). Thomas parents were Jonathan and Lena (Appel) Tinkler. Jonathan's parents were William and Esther (Hodgson) Tinkler. Thanks for any information. Karen

Birth and death dates for John Tinkler John Tinkler accompanied his older brother Thomas to the Pacific coast in 1852. Thomas returned alone 7 years later. According to Dixie's Tinkler Geneology book, there is mention of John's birth and death dates in the "Bible". If you have access to this Tinkler Bible, please include this information in his father's memorial. Thank you Mary Lou Weddle

Kezia Tinkler, d: 1901 Kezia, who died at age 16, was my grandmother's sister (Martha Victoria Tinkler, married to Fortunatus Brooks Magruder). I just discovered this picture you posted of Kezia and it is almost eerie how much she looked like me! I would love to know any other information about her, including cause of death at that young age. Her whole family was in Gypsum, KS. If you know - or can refer me to someone who might - I would appreciate it. Thanks, Jill jillgat-at-gmail-dot-com
name change; Herger/Hesher My Grandmother [Otto's daughter Ella] told us it was a German vs English spelling. Which I found hard to believe. FYI...........John's headstone is so deteriorated we're working to get a replacement. I'll post the photo once it's set.
