Virginia Joan Cole Beckwith/Ornelas
I was at Green Acres Memorial Park today in Bloomington CA. There is no stone for Virginia but she is located at 4B # 574 "Cross" Section.
Actually her place of death should read Fontana, San Bernardino County CA. She resided in Upland at her time of death.
Thank you for your help.
|Harvey Bell||Gideon Cole|
Hello, I photographed all of the monuments (I could find anyway)and found a downed and buried monument for Gideon Cole. Nov 9, 1857 aged 78 years. When I went to enter it I see you had previously entered a monument for his wife(?) which I did not find.
I did find another such downed, reversed monument next to his for an Orra Crane. Not sure if that is even relevant.
So I am entering the photo I took for him on his memorial, and as I do not see a listing for his wife in this cemetery why don't you make an entry for her, add her monument and reference it to his grave?
|Beth Tuttle||information correction|
My sister and I have been trying to contact you regarding information you posted on our Grandfather, Vernon Brown, Sr and our mother, his daughter Rose Vandenberg. You have listed his cemetery wrong, as he is buried in North Dover Cemetery. Also, our mother's name is not Caldwallader (which is actually Cadwallader), it is Vandenberg. It appears this way on her grave as well. Since you listed them in your account we are unable to correct the errors. Thank you for taking time to list them on this site and for making the necessary corrections.
I got a email for a suggestion or correction and I am not sure what that would be it is for Robert Lavern Horner memorial.
All I got was Mildred Joyce Armstrong Benschoter Horner to Ralph & Florence Elise (Hawes) Benchoter.
in the obit it said that Mildred is still living has that changed or are her parents also in that cemetery?
|gladwin gal||Re: McKimmy's...|
I sent a message. Hopefully soon (we) will have all four of: James & Vernis (Gray) McKimmy attached. If you want to... It is okay! to add the full obituary of Mac to his Memorial...
Here is: Mac Obituary below:
Once (we) get this looking good. We can invite Renee Crist & Sue-Ellen to these Memorials. So they can upload family photo's... Also! Cousin Chris & Jack would like to see this I'm sure... Thank You! for Linking up James & Vernis to Mac.

Thank you for the additional information on the Miller's and Jackson's. I have added it to the postings with credit to you.
Right now there are 74 photo requests for Mt Washington cemetery!
I was at Mt Washington last year, to request a lookup...the lady was going to charge me $20 for EACH name if it wasn't family!!!
If you'll look at the map...the cemetery is about ONE MILE from Truman Rd to Winner Rd. There is also a cemetery map (in color and hard to read) in the photos for the cemetery. Some of the ‘Gardens' are very large. Even if the PHOTO VOLUNTEER has the Garden, Lot, and space...it could still take a considerable amount of time to find one marker.

If you have someone buried here and you'd like a picture of their stone, you might want to call the cemetery to get a location for the volunteer as the cemetery charges for non family lookups.
