you are a granddaughter of Nels Jensen...who..?
I just added information for David Jensen, Nels Grandson

Please see 97407153. In the original cemetery records she is listed as Marie Christensen and also Karina Christensen. The Marie entry has all of the information including a matching date of death. The headstone confirms her marriage to Ole. It looks as if plot 38, lot 15, grave 4 is either empty or might be the resting place for an infant; the information is blank in the entry. I have seen this happen before in the Oakland records. Phew!

Hi, thanks for the notes. I added the maiden name. In the notes field, I added the 1895 census information and the persons who are buried in the same lot along with the ownership of the lot.
There is another FindAGrave member with family ties to several of the Danes in Oakland. Please consider contacting him. 48091928 D.AZ
I'm having surgery in a few days. I'll try to sneak out to the cemetery to see if I can find her marker.
|MN Headstone Hunter||Karina (Jepson) under Christensen|
I'm thinking you're onto something since the records are blank - do you know if she was widowed for long and his name?
Would you mind making a photo request and adding the name JEPSON to it. That will remind to double check for the stone and check the records in different ways to see if she is a Jepson/Jeppson and just buried in the Christensen plot.
Thanks so much for getting back to me! I've added the information and linked Katie Thea to her parents - it makes Oakland come alive. Visit often and feel free to 'edit' me additions/corrects in the memorials.
I transfer to families, too.
|MN Headstone Hunter||Kamilla Christensen Jensen|
Hi, I stumbled across Kamilla while doing some research on her brother William. I noticed your bio on her said she was one of 8 children but in the obit I found for Wm, I only counted 7. However, in my plot work at their parents' grave I found a girl with no birth death info, her name is there though! Do you have a Karina listed in the sibling for Kamilla? Also buried with the parents is sibling Carl M he died in his 20s. I linked him to his parents. Thanks for any info you have on Karina. I will check at the historical society tomorrow to see if there are records on Karina. There's no stone for Karina either indicating the likelihood she was a babe. Thanks.

Thanks for the response. I was able to change mine that I had added.
I did see where it could be changed and like you said after the 3rd.
So if you can not do it let me know and I will see what I can do.
Thanks again and have a happy New Year.

|Barb ||St Boniface|
I have relatives in this cemetery as you apparently have. I had added mine and when I went to look for them under the St Bonaface name I could not find them.
Then I realized the name of the cemetery on the photos was wrong as there is no St Bonaface it is St Boniface. So I have changed mine all over to the correct name so others can find them as well.
I know several other people in this cemetery and know from having been there that the spelling is St Boniface. I can not make the change as I did not add the people to the site.
Would you please make the corrections?
