Hello - my name is LaVonne Hallberg. I have been actively involved in researching my family genealogy for over 25 years. My goal is to find at least the country of origin for all lines. Have not had much luck yet. I would also like to have all of it accurately combined, with sources for all info. I hope to have my tree online soon.

I find connecting with the past and learning the history of where they lived and how they lived to be very educating and enlightening. I have found family members scattered to both sides of the US. I am still searching for my great-great grandparents family.

Dewitt and Agnes Taylor
Hi, I have transfered management of the Taylor's memorials to you. I also updated some info on Agnes that was available from the Warren County Death Register for 1893-1905. Best wishes, Jon Hart.

RE: Lydia Rockwood
A little bit about the cemetery. On top of a hill, located behind a church but across the street. Very very well maintained.

RE: Lydia & Reuben Rockwood
The military information came from the Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors in the War of the Revolution, Vol. 13, pg. 484. The cemetery inscription info came from Cynthia Tryon Hoogs, who cataloged Old Center Cemetery in Monterey, Massachusetts in 1984. His birth came from Vital Records of Tyringham, Massachusetts. The D.A.R. had his death date listed as March 3, 1800, however the stone had deteriorated and the true date is in question. Lydia's gravestone identifies her as the wife of Reuben Rockwood.

Reuben Rockwood is one of my more elusive ancestors and I have not found his parents as yet. Even his wife's maiden name was in question for some time. I have found 5 children: Abigail, Beulah, Jason, Joshua and Jason, again. I am descended from their daughter Abigail. I did not know they had a daughter named Lydia. Would you kindly share your info on her with me? Thank you so much.
