Bio Photo My interest in Find-A-Grave is related to my genealogy research for my family tree. Since 2006 I've discovered that Find-A-Grave has become a very valuable tool when trying to find information about a person that is buried hundreds of miles away with the helpful volunteer network Find-A-Grave offers.

My Father's family is from Tuscumbia and Sheffield Alabama and now I have called this area my home since 2005. My family tree takes me from Nashville and Detroit and after the 1930's coast to coast. My major family surnames are: Weinbaum, Bresler, Weiss, Adkison and Early.

Thank you for your interest and thank you for the time you have taken in getting the pictures from my request.

It may take me some time to get back to you if you write.

I would love to know approximate directions for the Jewish Cem. in old Claiborne, Monroe Co, AL that you added a photo for. I am hoping I can stir up some interest for help in cleaning up the "main" cemetery at Claiborne & will check this Jewish cem for needs, if someone can help me get a general idea of where it is. paulacarterdavis@yahoo.com

The Temple Cemetery in Louisville
Go to their website and you will find they are taking pictures of all the stones there. According to their sire they are 3/4 complete.

RE: Mt. Albion Cemetery
Hi, no record of Nathan Stoddard being buried in Orleans County and no Stoddards buried at Mt. Albion. Here is the link to the Stoddard cross references Cemetery records in Orleans County:http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nyorlean/cemsnis5.htm

Lillie Shipper in Cedar Park
Hello. The only person buried with Lillie Shipper is her husband Charles. I have also created a memorial for him. Take care, Julie.

RE: Fannie Chambers Roescher
Alex....I hate to tell you this, but I believe I've made a mistake. I was going to tell you that I got it from her Death Certificate. However, I just double checked and I looked at the wrong Fannie Roescher....her Mother-In-Law! Even though Forest Hill says they have no record of her burial, the Death Certificate for her clearly says Forest Hill. I'm not sure what to tell you about where she is. Seems like Temple Israel would be the likely place since that is where her husband is, but that might be erroneous. I'd see if they have any record there, and if not move her back to F. Hill. Sometimes if you have the Forest Hill folks recheck the records there they find them. Their massive records are still on cards! I apologize for any inconvenience.

STODDARDs in Elmwood Cem, Detroit
Hi Alex. I went to Elmwood, looking for your STODDARDs in sec. H. I photographed all readable markers in that section of the cemetery. I did not find any markers with a surname of Stoddard. I did find a marker with the name James Stoddard Conkling in the Conkling family plot. I did not claim your photo request so that if someone else can locate the STODDARDS, the request is still there. Regards.

Hi Alex,

I attempted to fulfill your photo request for this grave today. It's a very small cemetery with many unmarked graves. This could be one of them. Just thought you'd like to know.
