Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a DAR member and have done extensive research on the Cedar KS, Smith County Cemetery.

In May 2008, my husband and I walked the cemetery and took photos of all of the grave stones.

I am in the process of getting all of the information posted to Find a Grave.

RE: Bertha Grunder
Thanks Betty for checking on that for Bertha, usually family info is pretty reliable, but never know for sure. Mine is usually on the stone, but that isn't even always right! Just had one with her 2nd husbands name on, not her 3rd, and have found that quite often actually. One family had 3 different spellings of the last name, Schaefer, Shaefer, and Shafer! Each generation had changed it. So it is always nice to get to the main source when we can. Spellings are the worse, papers misspell or have typos too, just have to do the best we can. Luella

RE: Bly & Daniel Smith
You're very welcome for all. Glad to help. The flowers are plastic, but the sentiment isn't. They add a bit of color and cheer the place up a bit. Have an enjoyable 4th!

RE: Faulkender/Grunder
Betty, I was wondering about that also, but I thought he might be correct, so didn't want to take it out unless I was told to. The library has a nice cemetery book and I'll try to put a note to check for more info & plot. I just randomly take photos sometimes & must have took that one, so just had what was on the stone. I wonder if you could put the year of marriage on her first husband, maybe that would move it to that position? Luella

Smiths in FLLB - -
Both are in Azalea 066. Daniel is in 'B' of that section. Create a memorial for Dan and I'll get the photos this week - without another request. cb

RE: Nickerson, KS
Betty, as far as I am aware of, there is only one cemetery in Nickerson, Kansas.

RE: Aaron D. Higgins
Hi Betty,
No need to transfer. I am probally not related. My name is Michael Higgins and i have a Higgins surname site on rootsweb.
which includes civil war sections by state and side.
If i see a find a grave entry that i have info on i send it, if i dont see a page i create one.

Thanks for adding the data. Every new fact leads to another.

Sarah Hann @ new St Marcus in St Louis
I just posted a picture for the Sarah Hann that is buried in New St Marcus. I dont think that this is the one that you are looking for since she was buried in 1984.

And BTW, I did not see a Sarah Hann that died in MO in 1945.
MO has DC online for free, 1910-1963, at :

So Sorry
