|Greetings! I have been working on my family's genealogy since I was thirteen years old, but really got into it in earnest in 1990. I am a former genealogy librarian at the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana, which houses the second largest genealogy collection in the world. Unfortunately, the housing market collapsed just as I started working there, and I regretfully returned home to near Indianapolis after spending an extraordinary year at ACPL with some of the most wonderful people I have ever met.|
My father's family, the McCauleys, are from Raywick, Marion Co., KY, then back to St. Mary's Co., MD. I descend from Thomas Mattingly I FIVE different times, through both Cezar and Thomas II. I am also a Cissell twice. Other lines are Dant, Wathen, Blair, Bowling, Brown, Wimsatt, Riney, Moore, Hagan, and Simms.
My mother is a Singleton from Wolf Creek, Meade Co., KY. Other lines I work on from my mother's side are Frans, Riley, Chism, Baysinger, Greer, Pennell, and Pennington.
I also work on my husband's genealogy, including Kraeszig, Kraesig, Holtman, Klapheke, Lieland, Eder, and Dietrich. He is 100% German!
I am a DAR member with several proven patriot ancestors from Maryland, and also a United Daughters of the Confederacy member on my mom's side.
I am very happy to add, update, etc., any memorials that I manage. Some are unrelated to me (my fellow veterinarians across the nation) whose obituaries are published regularly. I have started to add some of those, and will happily transfer them to relatives.

You might want to add 164165763 "Buddy" Singleton as father of Candy. He passed this week. Shirley Brown

Hi,,, Geneva Kyser Kraesig was my grandmother's Edith Kyser Younger's, sister. My great aunt. I was wondering if you had any other photos you would share of Boots and Leo. Or if you had a photo of her actual grave site.

Hello, Mary. In researching my family, I found an ancestor that was living with Charles and Ann McCauley on the 1870 Census. My ancestor was Amanda McDermott (age 14) and there was also a boy Kendrick Donahoo (age 9) living with them. I know from another comment, that the Donahoo boy was being raised by the McCauleys after his parents died. I was wondering if you have any information on Amanda. I don't know if she was being raised by them also or if she was working for them. Any help would certainly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for transferring the memorials to me. I figured you must be related to Grandma Betty based upon the amount of information in her memorial.
Thanks again, Amy

Thanks for posting the death record for my cousin Geneva. I have a few corrections for you:
Her maiden name was spelled KYSER
Her first husband was Thomas Jefferson Farmer, Findagrave Memorial# 35910313
She is buried next to him in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
Our family greatly appreciates your time and efforts. Pat Settle

Mary, Aloysis's mother, Dicie Ann Nalley, was the sister of my 4th ggrandmother, Caroline Nalley Donohoo. All from Raywick. Charles and Dicie raised Kendrick Donohoo (Caroline's son) after Caroline died during (I believe) child birth. I would love to connect with you and exchange info, if you are interested. I am wondering where Caroline is buried. records say St Charles Cemetery in Marion County but I have been unable to locate the cemetery or her. Can you help?
Please feel free to call me 254-239-4626
Thank you, Laura

There are no mausoleums near Ocklawaha that I know of. The closest ones are in Ocala and they are:
Highland Memorial Park
I hope this is some help.
