I'm pretty sure that I saw a survey of this cemetery online before but it's been a long time. I will send you the link if I see it again.
|Mark Willis||William Gobel Lush and Ruby Akridge|
William Gobel Lush and Ruby Akridge are my great-grandparents. As far as I know William wasn't a Sr. I'm not sure what his father's name was - I don't know much about the Lush side of the family, so I would love to know how we are related. William died in 1947 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville next to his daughter and my maternal grandmother Catherine Ruby Fisher (Lush) (d. 1995). William's wife Ruby Akridge re-married after William died to a man named C.B. Napier. They are buried in the same cemetery.

Thank you..I don't believe that there is a tombstone for them at Cave Hill. I have a picture of William Gobel Lush Sr. and his wife Ruby Akridge. Also his children and some of his grandchildren...my half brothers. I also have an unidentified photo that may be Mary E. Nelson Lush. Did you ever get any photos of her? Will gladly share. Karen

William and Mary E. Lush are my half brothers Great Grandparents...or is it GG? Anyway, I wondered if you could add the Cave Hill plot info on findagrave? Sec 18 Range 366 Graves 41A and 42A...William in 41A and Mary E. in 42A.
I wondered if you have ever found any photos of the Lush family members that you posted on a message board? I am trying to do all I can to get info for my brothers. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. thank you!!! Karen

I found photos (Samuel W.& Anne B. Estes) of grave markers you have posted at Find-A-Grave.
First, thanks, they were most helpful.
Secondly, I am in the process of writing a family history and would like permission to use the photos you have posted in my family history as documentation.
I assure you that the family history I am writing is not a "for profit" endeavor. Frankly, it is primarily for my siblings, my children and especially my grandchildren. I will place a copy of this book in the Hart County (KY) Historical Society Library and any additional copies that are distributed will be very limited.
I will of course credit the photo source.
