I became interested in Genealogy about 12 years ago after going thru my grandmothers "Trunk of Treasures". The interest is now a full time obsession, which I enjoy. |
Some of the main names in my line are Ray & Brewer from Tennessee. Ward, Bedwell, Ford, Wiley, Jackson, Mourton and Pickard Pinkerton, Winters, Chesshir,Stubbs, Alsbury in Arkansas & Texas, Akers, Roberts, Stevens, May in Texas.
I would love to hear from anyone who is researching any branches of "my" tree.
If you see a flower from me on a memorial, that means they are in my tree, so get in touch.
IF ANYONE HAS MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY, MS, ALS, PARKINSONS OR ANY OTHER CONDITION THAT HAS TO DO WITH MUSCLES, PLEASE CONTACT ME. I HAVE MD, MY DAD HAS MS, AND THERE ARE SEVERAL FAMILY MEMBERS IN THE BEDWELL LINE THAT HAVE EITHER MD OR MS. I AM WORKING WITH A FOUNDATION THAT IS RESEARCHING AND WORKING ON A CURE FOR MD, THANK YOU.

Do you know who his parents were? All I know is that his parents died in the 1889 flood. His foster parents were John and Martha Susan PETITTE Biggs. Any information would be appreciated.

You requested a photo for Mary's memorial and noted that you wanted one of her husband's(Samuel) as well. I have uploaded both to their respective memorials.

You are welcome! David was my neighbor here in Bronte where he worked in Meat market at Grocery Store. He was a good friend.
Hello, Christina. I was so excited because I thought I could fulfill two requests for you at the Crafton, TX, cemetery: William Joe Roberts and Mili Roberts. I visited that cemetery this weekend to see the grave of a great aunt who is buried there. Sadly, however, I could not find your two requests. My husband and I did not look at every single gravestone because of time constraints. The cemetery is full of very old, upright stones. What we did was walk two rows at a time and would watch for and check the newer stones. I am not saying the headstones are not there. We simply could not spot them. Leave the requests open in case someone more familiar with the Crafton Cemetery can find them. So sorry!

I see you left flowers for Juanita Jackson. I saw her by chance in the IOOF list and remembered she was a good friend to my Aunt Flora Davidson whose maiden name was Winters from Oklahoma and Alabama. Her husband was Dee Dudley Davidson. Ring a bell>
