|Retired U.S. Army living in the Philippines since 2002. |
When I was a child I lived in Cross, SC on Lake Moultrie and had the great opportunity to work for/stay with/learn from Tiny Lund and crew. I played with Cale Yarborough's son, meet Cale and Ralph Moody, and flew once in Ralph Moody's [head of Ford Motor Racing] private plane over Moncks Corner, South Carolina. When I was 13 I moved back to Trenton, Florida.
My maternal roots [FL] are Sanders, Mason, Hunt, and Rowe. My paternal roots [KY-IN] are Clemons, Highlander, Hamilton, and Browning.
The well-documented Maj. John Mason line arrived in Dorchester, MA about 1632 and by 1635 was in Connecticut. From this line there is Rev War Soldier Elnathan Mason and a proven link to William Brewster of the Mayflower.
I work family history almost everyday and Findagrave is always an open tab on my web browser.

I went back yesterday and checked this stone. It is 1933 and I fixed it. The date is really hard to read. Thank you for pointing out the mistake.
|Janet McColley Franklin||John Scott Sosbe|
Hello, Do you know who John Scott's parents were? Also I have a couple Sosbe's in the same cemetery, would you like for me to transfer them to you?
3rd great granddaughter of Thomas and Sabina Sosbe.

Ronald, Thanks so much for correcting Geoge W Beach's DOB. I had tried and could not. David C. Beach...the family never knew his middle name was Clayton.
George is my Great Grandfather & David (known to the family as "Boy" is my great uncle. How did you find David's middle name?
I moved to Bell, FL from Plant City/Tampa area 6yrs ago and have been trying to do a little family history research. I'm having new headstones made for both graves. My great grandmother Bertie Beach (George's wife)& great-great uncle George W. Rodman (Bertie's Brother) are also buried at Center Hill. I have just found the person who manages the cemetery and I'm hoping he can locate their graves, so that I can get a headstone for them. I know their DOB's, but not DOD. If you can give me some tips in locating this information, it would be very helpful. Thank you, Peggy

Thanks for the info. I updated Fred's Bio with the correction. Do you have any other information on Fred's racing career other than what is on his bio?
