I am the youngest of four children of George Harold Weldon & Faye L Gray. I have always been interested in genealogy and slowly work to fit the pieces together. |
I am married to a wonderful man and have two daughters (Christine & Dorothy), three grandsons (Alex, Cody & Matthew)and two granddaughters, (Mackenzie & Aspen) and two son-in-laws (John & Justin).

|Sandy Vandertol||merged pages|
I just happened to see the message you left on the page of MAH. I understand what happened to you and I'll explain it as I understand it. Find a Grave does not allow duplicate pages because all pages are works in progress. It's different than being on Ancestry where you have complete control of everything you enter. When others make pages earlier than you, and then you come along and make a duplicate page, the administration at Find a Grave will either delete or merge your pages into the first created page, which gets priority over anything coming afterwards. When there are multiple pages created, the links to parents and siblings get confusing and going in too many directions, so only one page per person is allowed. MAH does not have the ability to delete or merge the pages. Only the administration at Find a Grave has that power. To add things to pages, you have to use the edit button, which includes links to family members. To get grandparents transferred to yourself, you need to use the edit button and ask for a transfer. If MAH is inactive or deceased, you can go to AJ@findagrave.com and ask to have your family pages transferred to your care. I hope this helps explain what happened. You probably made duplicate pages and Find A Grave merged them, not MAH.

If I can help in any way, let me know. The Park's, Wolcott's SMS Munn's are my family. I am happy to help. Happy hunting.

|SylviaC||RE: Weldon's & Quinn's in Piccadilly Cemetery|
We are related. Lorenzo & Phoebe are my maternal gr.gr.grandparents (Lorenzo-Violet-Mary-Viola-Sylvia). I checked the Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid website for Piccadilly cemetery but no Switzers are listed there:
However, there are a lot of Switzers listed for other cemeteries in Frontenac Co. & Lennox & Addington Co. I looked for but couldn't find Huldah's parents, William C. Switzer (1826-1907) & Ann Bell (1825-1905). SylviaC

|Kayla Shriver||Added Pictures for Ronald, Audrey, and Mae Benson|
I was in the Rutherford Cemetery looking for the gravestone of Margaret Benson and I did not find her gravestone but I took pictures of all the Bensons I came across. I added pictures to the memorials of Ronald, Audrey, and Mae Benson. I just thought you would like to know.

Thank you for taking this photo so quickly. I really appreciate your help.
I am so sorry about the error on the Sherman graves. I actually have a copy of the mortuary's records that specify Riverside, and yet when I entered the memorial page, I put down Monument Hill. I can only plead exhaustion from recent surgery on my hand, and one-handed pecking is draining me. I apologize and appreciate your catching the error and tracking down the correct site. Now, I have created new pages for Frank and Estella at Riverside. I will submit a photo request for them both, and hopefully you have not deleted the photos you took. If you did, drag them off the incorrect pages on Monument Hill and upload them to Riverside. Ugh! I hate making stupid mistakes. Then, I will delete the incorrect listings at Monument Hill.
But that's not my only error. Speaking with a distant cousin of Margaret and Madison Brown this afternoon, I learned from him that they actually went back to Oregon and died there!
Thank you for all your kindnesses in helping me with this family history. I truly appreciate everything.
