|I have enjoyed the ancestor hunt a good many years. Since Christy is my direct line I have been trying to connect all that are in my family. Thanks to many of you other site managers, especially "Pam", "MLC", and IRISH EYES ARE SMILING who have helped the most with all those Davis co. and Wapello co., Iowa transfers I requested. I have connected 7 generations in some of the families.|
I will gladly transfer anyone not of my direct lines.

Thank you for the linking. George does have a brother Charles Harward but my research tells me that his dates are 1815-1883. Jill

Thanks. That info was entered by Mary Parmele. If you find other corrections, please let me know and I will fix.
I just wrote to Karla to thank her for her photo. It's very puzzling. Bertha has two different stones in Star Valley under two different names. One has the final surname Mattheyer, # 6057894, and one has Christy, 85607472.
Perhaps she married again after Mr. Moreland's death in 1985, but Bertha died in 1988?
If you get the puzzle figured out, please let me know.

I just uploaded a picture to her memorial. I believe this headstone to be hers. It is located next to Mabel Beatrice Moreland at Starr Valley. I don't know if you are a member of this family and can explain the discrepancy in the last name. If this is not the actual headstone and just a huge coincidence, please let me know and I will try again in the spring.

Thank you for your kind words. No, I'm not related to Anna; however, we have the luxury of a member of the Banks family, Vern Wilson, who has done extensive research on his ancestors. He has made many valuable contributions to enhance the postings at FAGR.
As you know, this stuff is a work in progress, so as any new, verifiable info becomes I'll update accordingly.
Keep in touch...

I am a great grand-daugher of Ida May Christy. Thank you so much for maintaining this. It is so interesting!

I finally got up to Garden Grove, and got a photo of the Hines stones. I have put Daniel's on his memorial. It is hard to read as you will note, but it is marked as "3rd IA CAV" even though he went on to join the 4th IA CAV.
|Ernie Chapman||RE: Franklin Goodwin|
Ernie sent an invitation to look at my Rollins family tree. He said to tell you he has not posted all we have. We list Franklin and Wesley as brothers but have not found anyone with as much info as you apparently have. This Goodwin family has been illusive but have found much more in the last couple of years.
|Linda Carole Mustion||Ruth Maria McLachlan|
Go to Ruth's memorial and on the far left click on the link that says Find all McLachlan buried in Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. There are 5 listed. Check the plot locations and space # and you will find who is her husband. Do a photo request for him. Just thought I would let you know.
