Bio and Links
Bio Photo Getting to the point that I feel older than dirt. Have been doing genealogy for only a couple of years, having taken up where my Mom left off when she passed in 2003. I now have roots & branches - WOW.
I found that I am related to the Pilgrims Alden, Mullens & Brown on my Dad's side of the family. They started in Massachusetts, then to Minnesota, Wisconsin & Colorado. The names are Snow, Brown, Alden/Mullins. Other names on that side are Welch, Sutton, Shepler & Pierpont.

Mother's tree branched from Virgina, Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa then Oregon and I can trace back to about 1640's with the Taylor's, Tarpley's & Lewis'. Other names on that side are Story, Kreuziger, Jung & Robeson. Kreuziger's came from Germany in 1890 to Illinois. I have added some of the extended Oregon step family the Rachor's with permission of my sister. If anyone wants to have them transferred to them please ask.

I was born in Los Angeles, grew up in Oregon. Met my Dad in Colorado when I was 17 and had a blast knowing him until he passed in 1998. Mom & Dad divorced when I was 6 months old. I am now a Texan and got here as fast as I could in '73.

JC & Catherine Robison Taylor
Hi Carol,

I'm so happy to see the photos you posted of JC and Catherine Taylor and their children. Some of them I hadn't seen before.

I'm a descendant of Amy Estelle (Taylor) Martin (her granddaughter was my maternal grandmother). I have the clock that Catherine brought in their covered wagon over the Oregon Trail. My husband repaired it and winds it daily, and we listen to it and think that the Taylors heard the same clock sounds in their home.

I'll be adding some more photos, hopefully some that are new to you. Thanks again for the ones you posted.

Private lookup requests
Hi Carol,
Sorry for delay in getting back to you, I have a very old back injury and at times it gets the better of me and I have just gone through one of those times, in addition I have been dealing with a very large number of transfers to my Find A Grave account as a couple of members have found themselves having to cut back on their work in our area for various personal reasons so I have been having a large increase in my messages catching up with that side.
It depends really what you are looking for I have access to the Pueblo Chieftain Records at the library together with Pueblo Directories and other source documents we hold at the library. I know that if the request involved research at the local Births Deaths and Marriages Office we would come up against a very strict no access unless you personally prove you are directly related to the person you are researching if you could give me an idea as to what you are looking for or who you are looking for I would certainly let you know what I could do to help.
You can contact me on Vaughanmavir@msn.com hopefully it wont take me so long to get back to you
Regards
Vaughan

RE: Pleasant Taylot
Nice to know thx. I'm always surprised by the numerous marriages. Before starting Genealogy, I had the misconception that it wasn't usual to have multiple marriages. Lol boy was I wrong. Lol

I posted one for Conrad as well but you might want to move it down in the sort order. Let me know if there's anything else I can do. =]
