Barbara Christy
Hi,

The headstone is brass and the circle is a space where an urn would go.

oh- yes, you can use my photos. If you post them where others can see them, I would prefer you state that I took them. But if you forget, not a fuss. thanks for asking.

I am glad I could fix the photos. Actually, I live on the west coast, and was in Hingham on a trip. So unfortunately, I can't do additional photos for you. But I would be happy to add what you forward to me. Perhaps as you add memorials, you could use the Find A Grave request, and some kind soul would photo them for you?

Hi Dianne - I think I got the photos rotated. Back when I originally loaded them, the rotation was a "known issue" to Find A Grave admin folk. I tried again, and it looks like it is fixed! If not correct when you view it, you could consider sending me an email, and I would forward it to you.
If there are other edits, additions, etc, pls let me know. cheers.

Elizabeth Ilsley
Hello Dianne. I followed up with the Mt Wollaston Cemetery for the grave location for Elizabeth Ilsley and her husband Dr. Frederick Ilsley...Unfortunately the Cemetery has no record of this burial....As I mentioned to you before I have located the Souther burial headstone but it does not have Elizabeth's or Frederick's names engraved on it

Elizabeth IIsley burial
Hello Dianne..I found the Section and Plot you mentioned at Mt Wollaston Cemetery...I was not able to ( so far ) locate the headstone for the Dr and his wife Elizabeth....I did locate 2 other burials inscribed with Souther family names as well as on a monument for a Porterfield family....I would be happy to provide you with those photos and names....I will ask the Cemetery Office to look again under the i l s l e y name

Edwin William Shillady
I am not related to Edwin.

1940 census Edwin was a patient at Danvers State Hospital in Danvers, Essex, Massachusetts.

1942 draft card states he was living in Warwick, Kent, Rhode Island, Beatrice was living in Medford, Massachusetts. Massachusetts Mason Membership Card states his last residence as Everett, Massachusetts, death April 20 1953.

You could call Glenwood Cemetery (617) 394-2380 and ask if they know where he died then call that towns vital record department for his death certificate.

Hope this helps.

Dianne,

If you were to call the Mt. Wollaston cemetery office at 617-376-1295 and obtain SECTION and plot I'd be glad to see what I can do... they are usually very helpful.
