Dedicated to all those that came before us, to their long journeys, hard work and everyday struggles to make life easier for all of us. Family is very important to me and "the best things in life aren't things". I am very thankful for findagrave and all the resources available here. Favorite hobby is ancestry and favorite pasttime is visiting cemeteries and searching for ancestors. My secret weapon: my 19 year old autistic son who loves to visit cemeteries with me and seems to have special powers at locating and finding tombstones !!|

I wanted to thank you for investigating Anna Hed's potential burial in the Muir cemetery. I'm not sure where to go next, but it's indeed interesting to know that there is no recording of her burial in that cemetery. Thank you so much for your thorough approach! It means a lot--the Heds' story is one of the most fascinating in my family histories and I'm always glad to have another piece of information regarding them!
Thank you for the pictures for Edward and Emma. It is sad what time and weather does to the headstones. The winters must be very hard on the cemeteries. I had been able to find the same information on the family - thanks for passing it along. From what I could find, Edward was Carrie's third husband. I had seen the info. on Nellie and Rosa Dixon, but I think they might be another Dixon family, not unless they were Edgar's daughters. A road to check out another time.
Sharon, thanks again, so much for all your help! It is much appreciated. Have a great weekend.

Sharon and Son,
Thank-you for taking the time to find the tombstones of Edward and Edwin Barbour. I was so hoping we might have an inscription but at least now I know that is not available. The fact that you posted their location is great! Although I have no proof, yet, it would appear tht they are sons of John Newton and Electa T. (Houghton)Barbour. Hiram and Aurilla (Barrett) Houghton must be their grand-parents. I will continue to search for proof on these two and post any documentation on their memorial pages. Again, Thank-you,

Thanks for the photo of the grave.
Nope, I'm not familiar with a George Collier. However, I sure am glad you took a photo of Caroline Collier's tombstone. I just realized that she is the mother of the kids of John Collier. After her death, John apparently married her sister Barbara , my first request for a photo. Thanks for covering all the bases before I wised up!
